    A good way to know how these places were named is to find the info in “Utahs canyon country place names” by Steve Allen.

      Solid tip! I’m looking that up right now.. although I’m pretty sure I know how Nipple Butte was named. Lol

    Justin, seal that tailgate. Looking out from inside there are up to 1" gaps between the tailgate and tailgate.
    . Sure makes a huge difference with dust control and makes Jeep camping much more enjoyable.

    Fun fact. In BC we don’t have cattle gates. We have cattle guards. These are holes in the ground with steel pipes spaced across. You can drive across them but cows won’t walk across them. Means you can go fast through ranchland and don’t have to stop to close a gate. Just watch out for the damn cows! 😂

    • @JustinBMcBride
      @JustinBMcBride  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have those as well, but with the high cost to install, most of what we run into are gates.

    Love the content Justin! Keep it coming! Do me a favor though - balance out your audio more when mixing. The volume of the sound tracks in between you talking is like double what it needs to be. When listening on my drives or on my headphones, I have to constantly adjust the volume between guessing when you’re talking and not.

    • @JustinBMcBride
      @JustinBMcBride  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s normalized to -12db, but I can drop it down more.

    • @JustinBMcBride

      No. And I wouldn’t add one if it were available. I had one in my Jeep Wrangler (2019) and it vented fuel fumes into the cam and constantly threw check engine lights.

    Justin,
    Dude, you don't have to justify running your lights.
    It's a Jeep. And a Jeep thing to do what you want when you want with or without lights , your top, your doors, your windshield.
    It's a Jeep Thing Maaaaan.

    • @JustinBMcBride
      @JustinBMcBride  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JustinBMcBride oh, I know.
      Back in the day, there was a town with only 2 cars in it.
      At first they passed each other, parked next to each other and then one day, baam. They ran into each other.
      Safety 2nd. Right?
      You guys make some pretty good videos.
      You should ask your pal to do a Bigfoot Expedition putting forth the same effort as you guys do with all your videos.
      Believe or not, or even if it's real or not or still exists or not, if you guys did one, It would be better than anything on tv and the views would be in the millions.
      I have mentioned it to him before.
      Just a thought.
      Keep up the great work guys.

    Whats up with the weird title?!?! Why is this trail supposed to be illegal?!

    • @JustinBMcBride
      @JustinBMcBride  ปีที่แล้ว

      The trail in the second half of the video cuts across the gray “moon dust” that typically has a “no cross country” travel sign. In this case, it didn’t and it’s legal to drive across it to rejoin the main route.
