From the Mexican Border North to Los Angeles on the San Diego - Santa Ana Freeway.
In San Diego Interstate 5 is the San Diego Freeway, and it stays that way going North until you get to “The Y” in Irvine where Interstates 405 and 5 split with the 405 becoming the San Diego Freeway and Interstate 5 becomes the Santa Ana Freeway until you get to the East L.A. Interchange in Los Angeles.
I grew up in San Diego. Thanks for filming I-5 as I remember it. I don’t miss rush hours.

How about a weekend Melrose Ave cruise from West to East, taking in the general area? Or a Wilshire drive during rush hour from East to West? Love your videos.
Love this and all your vids, remind me of my home. Though always hated the lack of lighting on SoCal freeways, that combined with no inside breakdown lane meant that if you broke down, got a flat, or in an accident in the #1 lane you were GONNA get slammed. They are pitch black at night, so dangerous.
Reminds me of home too.. moved to Georgia and I hate it here I miss SoCal
