360 Video: Climate Change on the Navajo Nation

  • The Navajo Nation is the largest Native American tribe in the U.S. and spans three states, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. This region is facing heat waves and severe drought due to climate change, and many residents already live without electricity and running water, making the situation even more harsh.
This video follows a Navajo family trying to cope in these extreme conditions. As the water supply shrinks for the family and their sheep, cattle and other livestock, they risk losing their ancient Navajo traditions.
Video story reported, filmed, and edited by Sonia Narang.

Thank you, Sonia, for making this film in 360 and taking us there. I just watched via TH-camVR in my Oculus Go and I really appreciate that you invited me into the story and into Lorraine's family's lifestyle. Water is life, especially across Northern Arizona. May we find reason soon enough to make the changes we need to survive.

Living in the four corners area... the drought is extremely real over here. I work with an older navajo man. Hard working good man. Hes retiring soon and hes moving back to the navajo nation to be with his family. Some people may ask why go back? Well you go where family is. And from what ive experienced. Navajos are very family oriented. This is the worst it has been. Heart goes out to everyone that lives in the four corners area and especially the navajo nation. Stay strong

Yes, thank you for the 360 degree view.
My relatives, we walk the same road. Here in Maine, my older neighbor came over to my house one day and pointed to a spot over my shoulder at a bare piece of ground in my back yard. "Right over there when I was a kid (75 years earlier) that used to be a swamp. My buddies and me used to take a shortcut by jumping from grass clump to grass clump. Often, one of us would fall in.🤣 That conversation took place in 2006. There was no longer any standing water.
A couple of days later, it turned out I had to dig an 8 foot hole with the backhoe and it seemed like a good time to see how deep the water table had gotten.
It wasn't long before I reached the 10 foot mark when water showed itself. It was during that year the drought got so bad that my neighbor up on the hill had his artesian well dry-up.
Although, Maine has since had rain, we know it is being maintained by the chemtrails and electronic emmissions. You can see the criss-cross the sky and within 24 to 48 hours, it would rain or snow. There are also the cloud patterns unlike those in the distant past that show "parallel, inference patterns" that resemble the ripple patterns a wave makes in beach sand.
Another older neighbor once said, "If it weren't for all them chemtrailing, Maine would dry-up then blow back to Canada."

Thanks for posting and sharing these stories and videos Been away from moms house which is my grandparents home in Jones Ranch. Leo and Marie what amazing grandparents you two are. I miss the sheep lambs goats kids and all of my family. Having livestock is very expensive and hauling water has always been a pain. With the drought cost of hay feed and the gas to haul water and loSt of my grandpa and age my. Grandmas herd livestock has decreased in size by at least 75%. The govt also decreasing in number of livestock she is allowed to have. She had a windmill set up but dealing with maintenance and damaging by disrespectful ppl she has a hard time feeling optimistic on her livestock’s water in future. I kmow how much joy and security it felt fo raise a lamb or kid using a bottle It’s a great feeling I can’t quite explain I can’t begin to imagine the pain my grandma is feeling as she sees less and less of her animals. She has over 60 and knows each by nickname based on their personality I love my grandma One day ill return
To help you again To help with animal and the cropping in summer and fall. Mutton stew with steamed corn and fried bread. To lose this would be devastating. I can only hope and pray all younger generations keep everything going language. Traditions and all else. We owe it to our elders Love you all.

The only way we can keep the climate change staying alife is to keep our ceremony going all the time all on the reservations... That's the most important..lf we don't do it..We will loose everything..Holy people gave us all kinds of ceremonies..And lt looks like we are forgetting that.. that's why our world is going down..Just think about it .This is absolutely true..

    • @HumanKind101
      @HumanKind101 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@Annie Tsosie App We as Indigenous People need to understand that we were given guardianship over the land thru Prayer and Songs. The ceremonies are to balance ourselves/humankind with nature. For we are nothing without our mother the Earth. Please keep the Earth in balance and learn your Language and culture/ceremonies.

    The testimony of God's healing
    - 예슈아커밍 / Yeshua Coming -
This testimony is a personal experience, but I share it with the sons and daughters of God in the name of Yeshua for the sake of the kingdom and righteousness of God.
(Prayer) Abba Father, your name is Yahweh, Holy Spirit, Yeshua. I give thanks, praise and worship. Glory be alone. At this time, I want to share the testimony that Abba Father healed me. Thank you so much Abba Father. I believe and thank you for liberating me from the pain that I can't even pray because it hurts so much and I can't even cry because it hurts so much. I am sharing this experience of how Abba Father healed me for the sake of the kingdom and righteousness of God, to the sons and daughters of God. Glory be alone. I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters in Yeshua! My name is Seon ha.
In 2004, I heard the voice of Yahweh God the Creator.
you have to go there The time has come for the world to close, and my sons and daughters still don't know me.
Since then, God has been with me for about 18 years, and through countless visions, God has revealed everything about this world and what will happen in the future.
    I believe in Yahweh God.
11 days ago, my whole body felt very heavy and I had no strength at all. What is this? The next day, the lymphatic vessels in my body were so swollen that it became the size of a small egg.
It wasn't the first time I had such an experience before. When I first had that experience, God showed me in advance what would happen to my body through a vision. I went to the hospital, and the doctor did surgery or prescribes antibiotics. Fortunately, it took a very long time without surgery, but the inflammation was small.
This time around, this situation asked me a question. Why is this happening now to me? In this situation where I can't even go to the hospital on my own, what is that mean to me?
I decided to believe in God and endure. I believe in God. Yeshua showed all those who delight in God that when he goes to the hospital bed and puts Yeshua's hand on it, sick people feel better right away.
I believed in God and decided to persevere by doing everything I could. This is a test. This time is a test. I must pass this exam well. Day after day, I decided to endure, and prayed and prayed to defeat the evil spirits.
The pain continued, and after about six days, the inflammation began to come out of the body. That's a good thing, it seems to be healing. This is how I believed and endured. After 6 days, there was no road. What's worse, my whole body aches. My whole body hurts so much that I can't even pray, and I can't even cry because it hurts so much.
At that moment, in this world, the sons and daughters of God and the brides of Yeshua must be experiencing the same experiences I am now. We all must be suffering from the pain of the soul, the pain of the body, the pain of the heart and the mind. Everyone must be experiencing this pain in their respective positions and places. How sick is everyone? How much pain is everyone? I felt pain and pain all over my body.
And a few more days passed. Now I really can't. I think I should go to the hospital. It hurts so much, I think I should take antibiotics. I have fifty thousand thoughts on my own. It seems to be healing, but because it hurts even more, is Satan making the last move? On the night of the ninth, I was very sick, and the inflammation was still in progress, so I told my acquaintances how I felt in detail, knowing that it was late at night and she had to be a witness in this case for me.
It hurts so much, I can't cry, I can't even pray. On the ninth day, it was so painful, like the real Satan's last strike. It's been 10 days. It hurts so much that it hurts this much because of inflammation, but it's not an inflammation outside, it's an inflammation inside the body. How sick do people get when they get cancer? I have a million thoughts on my own.
Around noon on the 10th, I felt something explode. It was the inflammation that broke out in the body. Just like a dam collapsing, all kinds of clots and sores burst out.
Thank God. Thank you for healing me. Inflammation and clots of blood that burst like that continued for about a day. Since then, the pain that has been so painful is gone.
God did it, and God healed it. Hallelujah~
I learned a lot through this experience. God creates and destroys, and if there is a disease, He also heals if you ask.
I am a very spiritually sensitive person. At the moment of praying and making a fuss after being in pain for a long time, an electric tingling sensation is continuously felt in the painful area that was like an egg. Things keep happening.
I believe in the Creator Yahweh, Holy Spirit, Yeshua.
Through this experience, I came to know the hearts of the brothers and sisters who are suffering now in more detail.
I believe in, praise and worship the healing God. thank you.
All glory and praise to Yahweh, Holy Spirit, Yeshua.
    Only Yeshua! Shalom.

Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what G_d actually said. There is No Trinity! That is a false pagan belief. G_d specifically said in no uncertain terms that there is Only One G_d, and besides G_d there is No Other Savior!

The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach (The Real Word of G_d), with a whole lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did. You have been deceived from all directions dear. No Hebrew/Jew was ever named Jesus nor John nor especially James. There is no letter J in the Hebrew alephbet nor does any of the Hebrew letters even make a J sound. Try actually reading the scriptures when G_d gave the Torah/Tanach and the 10 Utterances to Mosche and the Children of Israel on Mt. Sinai. G_d specifically told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendants all through time are to NEVER veer to the right nor left of the Torah! Never! G_d also told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendants all through time are to NEVER accept anybody else's religion! Never! The One True Creator G_d warned us about Christianity thousands of years ago. Christianity is not the group that they claim to be, Christianity is a Wolf in sheep's clothing!

What is our government doing about this? It is completely their responsibility. This is absolutely as bad as a flood or a tornado! This so upsetting and I’m so mad.
