Oh man now I really wanna go buy some of these plants, especially the elephant ears and air fern. I have some shade I've been wanting to fill so this video came at the perfect time. See y'all this weekend 👍🏽🌱🌿
I bought a camellia sasanqua but I am thinking of returning it because the place I want to put it gets only about 1 hour of durect sun in the evening and i keep reading they need sun to flower. You say in the video that camellias are good for full shade, but will they bloom? Same question for hydrangea, everywhere I look online says they won't flower in full shade. Thank you in advance!
Morning sun/afternoon shade is ideal. Late afternoon and even evening direct sun can be too strong for camellias. Ideally they get part sun in the early morning, or they are placed in an area with filtered sun, or under the shade of a taller tree. Blooms will struggle if planted in an area with complete full shade where there is NO presence of sunlight all day long.
Thank you Rainbow Gardens and thank you Laura! This was very informative. ❤️

Love the frog fruit
We do too. Such an easy, low maintenance plant, and it is ADORABLE.
