I must say that watching this wasn't as scary as I expected, after watching the last Mexico vlog! :D Bulgaria looks super interesting and as you said, being Polish I can also say that my grandma's house looked very similar lol!
Exploring a destination with little expectation can really be a great adventure! Beautifully done thanks you for your videos and keep on with the great work!
The apartment you saw was from the 1980s. There is a similar experience in Dimitrovgrad, where there is a retro apartment from the 1950s. It's about an hour away from Plovdiv.
It is an excellent video. Informative, direct and earnest. We are two senior Indian citizens planning to visit Bulgaria in April or May 2025. Shall greatly appreciate if you can share information about where you stayed, area and how to reach the place from airport by public transport. We would like to stay at a decent, extremely modestly-priced hotel. Should preferably be located at the ground level (meaning should not involve too much climbing to reach the lodge) as my wife is a heart patient. We await your response. And yes .... a big thank you again for the video.
You're welcome! I stayed in two hotels... the Arte Hotel might fit your requirements: booking.stay22.com/brontosaurusou/sBxkKFBnIG?aid=brontosaurusou&campaign=indietravellerco-1weekinbulgariaitinerary&product=allez&habl=false&isinc=false&sid22=1209e610-b0ed-4cbc-a720-e5edb96001d6&address=Bulgaria And I have more tips for Sofia here: www.indietraveller.co/sofia-itinerary/
@@indietraveller Thank you so much. I never expected such a prompt reply. One more feather in your cap. Keep up the good work. God bless you. I am savouring all the videos wherever you go.
The newer bricks on the roman ruins are put there for conservation ,it is practice all arround the world or the remains will be destroyed from the air after beeing exposed

Great video you have a very professional editing style, like a proper travel show.

@@babiyarnazarismaily6207 interesting!
You went to see the waterfall but not the Vitosha Stone River .... nobody goes to the stone river ... it's way more impressive.
Yeah I went there it's cool! It's not part of the video since I was chatting with two locals I met :) Hiked up there and took the bus back
Modern cities = graffiti. Sad.
Graffiti isn't always bad
