I have a question Why does no pony respect Twilight as a princess? Like, from an episode in S7 Misfortune, the crowd did not care about what Twilight said and persisted on what they wanted. It's like her turning into a princess did not even matter.

When she was being levitated by this so-called magical essence, Celestia's horn was not glowing. She was merely watching the transformation take place in front of her. Honestly, in my opinion, I want to say some don't give her the "Appropriate Attention" is because well for one, Twilight does not do public events as Celestia does. She doesn't go around judging contests, she doesn't talk about politics, etc. Sure she is an element of harmony and saved Equestria multiple times. If you think about it not every pony in Equestria attends these ceremonies that celebrate Twilight's accomplishments. Sure there is a LOT of ponies that attend, but surely there can not be EVERY citizen in one location right? Sure the word would get around eventually but like in real life, if you were not there does it really affect you? If there was a storm far away from you and killed people, would you really let it affect your life or remember it afterwards? Sure you would feel maybe sad about the lost lives for maybe 5 minutes but afterward you're living your life normally again.
My theory was that Twilight cast an illusion spell on herself so that no one would notice she was an Alicorn. This was to prevent her from being mobbed anytime she went out in public.

Even before Twilight was an alicorn, no pony recognized her or her friends as the heroes they are. It was made clear to everypony that the Mane 6 are heroes, and yet, no pony seems to care. They casually interact with the Mane 6 as if they are just normal strangers. Maybe selective attention was at work here, too, but this has happened far too often for me to consider it that. I mean, come on! Pinkie Pie socializes with all of Ponyville pretty much every day. How could they not recognize her? The others are constantly seen throughout Ponyville. The thing about war heroes, though, they're not all that celebrated. Sure, they might get a parade or a banquet in their honor upon success, but then they just return to their normal lives. I'm sure it's the same with the Mane 6, even though they haven't technically been in any wars.
Arianna and Jasmine just a thought, so im probably wrong, but count how many times they saved the world and there were actually ponies there? And how many times ponys were there, but panicking and running for their lives? Trying to remember a person's face while trying to avoid changlings that can change their appearance is kinda hard.

Well, I think another reason Twilight wasn't noticed was she wasn't surrounded by Royal Guards the way she should have been. Notice in "Slice of Life" episode, both Celestia and Luna are at the wedding yet no one pays any special attention to them at all. When Cadance comes to Ponyville in "Three's a Crowd", no one seems to pay any special attention to her either. With all the background alicorns they've shown in the show, perhaps they aren't really all that uncommon. Like Hollywood Celebrities.
i think that this perspective is an opportunity for twilight to not get too carried away as an alicorn and have a way more relaxed life without so much stress , sure , it would be nice to be recognized as an alicorn , but those paparazzi wouldnt let her go anywhere from that moment unnoticed . its kinda like being a disguised superstar . if you are not noticed so much its way easier to get through the normal life instead of being recognized and have always the full attention . celestia and luna can handle that already , because they rose up with that , but twilight could get a breakdown with her nerves . we know very well , how good this works out ;D
There is actually a more simple explanation to why that pony ignored her. There are some people that don't give a rat's ass if you are a peasant or royalty. I know it sounds crazy but for me royalty are people like me and they should not get any special treatment when in a public place. That is also especially true for city ppl that don't have time to waste. If he would give up the taxi just because Twilight was royalty that would be power abuse. If delegate pony were to give up his taxi it should have been because of generosity and not fear of authority. But it seems he wasn't feeling too generous in that moment.

All of the princesses don't appear to have friends. So Twilight wants to stand out, it's kinda her job as representing friendship, but do friends try to be the best, and be addressed as "princess" or "your highness"? No
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but ponies seem more excited to meet Twilight after she becomes a princess, than ever before. How many times did she save Equestria before she became a princess? Someone like that ought to be held in high regard for that, no? And yet, she isn’t famous until she gains a monarch title. She didn’t even have any real royal duties until an entire season after she became an alicorn princess, so it’s not like any pony just admired her field of work or accomplishments since becoming royal (not that they had changed much since she was a civilian).

I like this. Not many people realize that in this universe, Twilight doesn't exactly stand out that much. People forget that ponies recognize alicorns as two or three specific ponies, and even then, most of those ponies are really tall and noticeable. Unless they are paying specific attention (like Starlight - even she took a couple seconds to notice even when analyzing her.)
The 'they didn't notice' explanation is so simple, yet people almost never think of it. There are so many 'plot holes' that can be explained by the simplest explanation. Another simple explanation that is often overlooked is 'they were lying'. Like when Rainbow said she was the first in her class to get her cutie mark but then one of the flight school bullies had one before her in the flashback. It never occurs to many people that a bragger might stretch the truth to make themselves look better. I know there's plenty of people that saw pics of alicorn Twilight while watching seasons 1-3 and were still surprised when she got wings at the end of 3. I know one person that walked right by a giant store display of Twilight with her wings extended and still didn't notice, probably because they had it in their mind that she didn't have wings so wasn't looking for it.

Personally, I think there may have been more than that at work for delegate 2. Yes, he was inattentive and short-tempered. it was also raining, which for a lot of people makes it harder to focus on things, on top of being stressed and waiting for what is apparently an extremely rare cab, and he's been waiting there for a while, if that line's any indication. people are less likely to be interested in noting things like that if they're stressed or upset, and the environment was certainly not playing to Twilight's favor with the weather.
I think Twilight should get a flowing Mane like Celestia and Luna's so she's more noticeable aside from her wings and Horn which actually just here as a alicorn but either way she should have a flowing Mane it would just make sense and Cadence should have one too
Max Max I think Celestia and Luna's flowing manes and tails are not their real manes and tails and their real manes and tails are actually pink and light blue. Also it's possible that Celestia and Luna are actually Windigos disguised as Alicorns that's why they have flowing manes and tails.
Untrue. The manes are real and I'm pretty sure they're flowing due to the immense power that the two sisters have. As one can tell in the episode where the three princesses give their magic to Twilight. Her mane had the same appearance as theirs for a short moment.
Just took the selestive attention test, yes, I counted all fifteen passes, and yes, I did see the gorilla. When taking a test like that, I always look for gorillas because more often than not, either a gorilla or a penguin walks across screen.
You also have to take into account her horn. Her horn is kinda sticking out and is a lot more obvious than her folded up wings. Plus, its closer to her face, so its more likely to be noticed.
Everything that you said here as well as something else. The majority of Twilight and her friends’ accomplishments happen either in Ponyville, Canterlot or the Crystal Empire. So if you are a pony that lives in Manehattan the only way you would know anything about her (including her appearance) is through the news/paper. I believe Nightmare Moon is the only villain that affected all of Equestria. However, ponies at the time may have just thought that Celestia messed up the time to raise the sun. Discord affected Ponyville Christalis affected Canterlot Sombra affected the Crystal Empire Discord’s plunder seeds affected Canterlot and Ponyville Terak affected Ponyville While Starlight’s time travel would have affected everyone, most probably had no idea what had just happened/almost happened or who fixed it. The Pony if Shadows affected Ponyville The Storm King affected Canterlot Only at the finale is all of Equestria affected. So for most ponies unless they saw a picture of Twilight in an article they probably wouldn’t know what she looks like, or even what she’s done for that matter. Like you said, her appearance isn’t so different from the average pony. By the time of her coronation there had probably been enough articles about her and her friends for ponies to know about her but I doubt the average pony knows about everything she and her friends did.
Yeah, plus I feel like Ponyville's population is closer to 1000 than 3000-4000. Combine this with the fact that a decent amount of pegasi can be seen walking/flying around ponyville on any given day, and it seems likely that pegasi make up closer to 20% to 25% of Ponyville.
To be honest I kinda wished Twilight used her royal title to get the taxi. I don't remember the exact plot of that episode anymore, but Rarity was trying to get a taxi in that scene, right? Twilight could've simply spread her wings, let everypony take in the moment she was an alicorn princess as Rarity walks through the line of the taxi. Ta-da. Not much of a hassle anymore.

I don't believe this. Coming from an autistic man, people like me are naturally more machine like than other bios. They are still subject to forgetting things and not carrying all info forever, but they tend to be quite a bit more reliable. They might put something down and forget where it was in a disorganized setting, but they wouldn't forget they had it, or put it down. They are less prone to forget appointments, although they may be more prone to mix up the order of the numbers. 101 110, and all that. Basically, not perfect, but less prone to senseless biases. They'll observe things they don't intend to as well as things they do intend to. Info overload affects the autistic more than normal people. Put them through this test and see the results.

Untrue. The manes are real and I'm pretty sure they're flowing due to the immense power that the two sisters have. As one can tell in the episode where the three princesses give their magic to Twilight. Her mane had the same appearance as theirs for a short moment.
Just took the selestive attention test, yes, I counted all fifteen passes, and yes, I did see the gorilla. When taking a test like that, I always look for gorillas because more often than not, either a gorilla or a penguin walks across screen.

You also have to take into account her horn. Her horn is kinda sticking out and is a lot more obvious than her folded up wings. Plus, its closer to her face, so its more likely to be noticed.

Everything that you said here as well as something else. The majority of Twilight and her friends’ accomplishments happen either in Ponyville, Canterlot or the Crystal Empire. So if you are a pony that lives in Manehattan the only way you would know anything about her (including her appearance) is through the news/paper. I believe Nightmare Moon is the only villain that affected all of Equestria. However, ponies at the time may have just thought that Celestia messed up the time to raise the sun.

So for most ponies unless they saw a picture of Twilight in an article they probably wouldn’t know what she looks like, or even what she’s done for that matter. Like you said, her appearance isn’t so different from the average pony. By the time of her coronation there had probably been enough articles about her and her friends for ponies to know about her but I doubt the average pony knows about everything she and her friends did.

Yeah, plus I feel like Ponyville's population is closer to 1000 than 3000-4000. Combine this with the fact that a decent amount of pegasi can be seen walking/flying around ponyville on any given day, and it seems likely that pegasi make up closer to 20% to 25% of Ponyville.

To be honest I kinda wished Twilight used her royal title to get the taxi. I don't remember the exact plot of that episode anymore, but Rarity was trying to get a taxi in that scene, right? Twilight could've simply spread her wings, let everypony take in the moment she was an alicorn princess as Rarity walks through the line of the taxi. Ta-da. Not much of a hassle anymore.

I don't believe this. Coming from an autistic man, people like me are naturally more machine like than other bios. They are still subject to forgetting things and not carrying all info forever, but they tend to be quite a bit more reliable. They might put something down and forget where it was in a disorganized setting, but they wouldn't forget they had it, or put it down. They are less prone to forget appointments, although they may be more prone to mix up the order of the numbers. 101 110, and all that. Basically, not perfect, but less prone to senseless biases. They'll observe things they don't intend to as well as things they do intend to. Info overload affects the autistic more than normal people. Put them through this test and see the results.

So, I noticed the gorilla, but it never clicked in my head that the gorilla was a gorilla until it was mentioned, and I was like, *"OOOHHHH, THERE W A S A GORILLA!"*
