I can't find your videos, do you have a new YT channel? I hope you and family are well. I really miss your no BS delivery on what ever you are working on. P.S You still have the very best tool collection I have ever seen.
thank you very much. I got burned out and pissed off at people that's why I pulled the vids but I actually am uploading a video for this weekend to give it another try.
Man, I understand getting burned out on YT videos, I'm very thankful for you taking the time out to let me know I wasn't going nuts here. I knew you had a bunch of content you must have pulled. I enjoyed all your videos and I know you had a good amount of peeps that felt the same way. It's unfortunate there's a small few d-bags out in the TH-cams that don't know sh@t and aren't fit to wash your car trying to tell you you don't know what you are doing. Any way, I am happy you are back.. @@rgfarmsrepair503
That’s a good set up for in field repairs. That compressor looks pretty sweet. Good video and good to see ya back making videos again. Really enjoy them.
Great on the go set. Those GP duo impact sockets are fantastic. Your organizational breakdown is very similar to how I've set my boxes up. Particularly that top bits n pieces drawer and your hammer punch plier pry'er drawer. I was writing up the following while to were going through the bottom drawer and then watched till the end haha - "One thing I use often I was surprised not to see is a kit of 1/4" hex bits, adapters and drivers. Maybe you keep those and some power tools in a different bag." Also I like keeping a set of dial calipers on hand with fractional and metric thread gauges and a feeler gauge tucked in the case for ID'ing fasteners and taking measurements for replacement parts.
Thanks for the comment 👍 yeah I probably should have said more but I have 2 different trucks that goes into so I have the milwaukee packouts set up with all my cordless tools electrical stuff etc. Yeah I carry the vim tools metric and standard hex bit sets they are nice because they have normal and magnetic bits
Been looking at getting into one of these. Been hesitant going from the snap on box top I’m currently using in my service rig. Looks like you’re well equipped! Thanks for the in-site from past experience. Appreciate ya and have a good one.
Yeah I love that set just about everything you need in a case and I love the blue point 1/4 drive master socket set I forgot to show that in the video but it's very handy to have.
I've been wanting a proto road box for a very long time.. glad to see your doing ok, gonna have to go back and watch your recent videos from the last few months
I'm good man thanks for the comment. Yeah I like the design of the extreme box. I had a snapon road box sitting on my pallet rack forever and I finally sold it last year which totally figures that I sold my service truck and needed a road box this year lol
@@rgfarmsrepair503 that's how it always works, you hold on to "junk" year after year then decide to finally sell it and the very next day the need to use it will arise
Thanks. All I can say is anymore the cheaper brands of tools have come a long way instead of spending several 100k on snapon like I did as a tech. Save ur money spend it on something better that you will enjoy or will earn you more $
@@rgfarmsrepair503 thanks man the advice means a lot. It’s stupid easy to walk onto the local truck and go headfirst into debt but I’m looking at sealey. Don’t know if you guys have it with you but it’s good quality for little price. Thanks again!
What brand large crows feet are you using? Looking to get a set soon. Awesome box setup, I may be transitioning into an open bed service truck soon and may consider a box like this. Does it seal up well from the elements?
I believe they are sunex. Yes those boxes seal up good I owned the same thing years ago. Only downside is if you use it every day beating around in back of truck eventually the drawers will sag and slides will fall apart.
@@rgfarmsrepair503 thanks for replying! I ordered their set today, far overdue for a set, I work on large centrifugal compressors with mostly all hydraulic oil lines.
In one of your old videos you showed some knelling mats that you used, I can't remember who made them or what video it was on, but I was looking for some the other day. What mats do you prefer, I have the snap on one, but is not big enough.
Looks like a nice box but it’s not the service truck hopefully you can adjust to no truck with everything. How’s the 7.3l doing with the upgrades have you been bag driving it
yeah it's not my service truck for sure but has enough for me to be dangerous out in the field. The f350 seems to run good I only test drove it once around the block then was in the field all week so haven't driven it since then.
Really surprised me that is a 36" box it looked smaller in the thumb nail. I have always wanted a Montezuma, just have been to cheap to pull the trigger. Take care Ryan.
hey bill! yeah I sold it but I wasn't ever going to get as much money for it ever again as I did and I couldn't really justify keeping it just for my farm and not making money with it. Thanks for the comment
@@rgfarmsrepair503 Understand. I have had to deal with the thought of selling mine as dealing with age and worn out shoulders. To realize a good price for the amount invested was troubling. I am doing some cutting edge stem cell treatment so the thought of selling the only source of income is a powerful motivator to see how far can a mechanic get body in shape as seen by internet examples. Nice road box setup. I’m interested in your skid setup, looking to set one up for a farm truck as well

I've always been partial to the 36-inch montezuma triangle box, I run 2 on my pickup. The only thing I don't like is the price, lol

How are the side frames attached to the actual box? Bolted, or welded directly to box?
Think they are welded I don't own it anymore if you watch my tremor superduty videos you will see why. Thanks for watching

Where did you get that toolbox from?

How well does the box hold up against water
Seals up good
