Thank you Ramón for explaining that parabens (preservatives) are there for an important reason! The misinformation out there is maddening.
That doesn't mean that you couldn't use a different preservative with a different safety profile, though.
@@Lissbirdsthe acds named parabens as the non allergen of the year in 2019. Parabens are an extremely well studied preservative and when used correctly are perfectly safe. If you have an allergy to it then it should be avoided, but most people don’t have issues with it.

we need more experts talking about the necessity of parabens in makeup. i’ve tried “clean beauty” products that i’ve had to throw away because they go bad so fast.

Just dont say ,when its a lower price its lower quality. That is not true!Take the Essence gel liners, they got Pigment,wear long and dont go anywhere.

Anyone else have issues with gel pencils dragging/not putting down pigment easily when it's cold? All different qualities seem to do it. I keep it in my pocket to warm it up.

It is easy to guess which one is the most expensive due to the look of the pencil. It would have been better to (partially) cover the pencils.
