  • RACISM IN GERMANY: My Experiences as a Chinese American Just VISITING | Be #Antiracist
Hello beautiful people. How are you holding up?
I’ve been holding this topic in for TOO long because, yes, racism is a sensitive topic. It incites many different emotions in the victims, perpetrators, and witnesses. But, I’m using the Black Lives Matter cause to give me the voice and courage to share my own stories with racism by White people to show that racism isn’t just in America, it’s everywhere you go as a POC. This video is for every POC and every White person who needs to even be convinced to take a stand against racism right now as the fight to end it rages on. Especially if you’re Black, please keep sharing your stories with everyone. Help everyone understand.
I also want to add that it’s sad is that I didn’t realize this video is also relevant to and for every Asian person who was attacked during these coronavirus times. Thanks to the media, I forgot this is still happening because they don’t cover it (anymore?). Being married to a White and German man makes this cause even more important to me. Stay educated and continue educating each other.
Here’s that Instagram post I posted 2 days after the incident: / bdny8sjl3p- (I forgot it happened 4 days into the New Year, ffs)
Here are some videos of a South Korean streamer who had her share of encounters with racism while IRL streaming in Germany (disgusting):
    ❀ after TwitchCon: Slasher/status/11...
    ❀ during Oktoberfest: / scaryrelentlessvelocir...
    ❀ just taking a flipping stroll: / quaintcorrectudonargieb8
Here are a couple articles of attacks on Asians within the US because of the coronavirus mentality (I don’t like how these articles are written, but these are for sharing what’s happening):
    ❀ California: mothership.sg/2020/06/asian-g...
    ❀ NYC: mothership.sg/2020/03/new-yor...
If you want to do something for Black Lives Matter, then I suggest checking out this link to get started: blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/. Personally, I signed a dozen petitions. I also reported a user on the platform who was slandering the Black lives that were taken and dismissing the cause in a comment section. Don’t stress if you think you aren’t doing enough. Doing nothing is worse than doing something. Remember that whatever you choose to do in life, always choose to do the right thing. Right now, we need each other.

❀ I typically upload 3 times per week, but with everything going on lately I decided to take a step back and help the cause, doing my part and letting Black voices be heard.
