Love the design for that Solitude, I worry about the payload when using it for full-time. Triple-axel Solitudes! It would also be nice if they made the rear bedroom have options, like you can order it with a bed, or a couch, or a desk. More like flex space. Just like they have options for the dinette or the super sofa. Great walkthrough! I have been trying to see a good walk-though of the 391DL and yours is the first good one I have seen.
Very similar to the Keystone Avalanche 390DS. Except the Keystone has a drop frame in the rear that allows for a 34 inch tall loft area. We love our 390DS!!
I wish manufacturers would look more into murphy beds options. There are so many integrated bed/desk/computer stations that can make a bedroom dual use. Sure you lose underbed storage but I for one would be willing to sacrifice it since I’m not a full timer and only go out a max of 10-12 weeks at a time.
I’ve been in that Solitude before and it is awesome! We are only occasional campers, so we don’t need anything that fancy, but it would be awesome if we were full timers! (My dream)

Saw the new 2022/2023 380FL which has that super deep bedroom slide like you featured. Think that is the only thing I wish our 2020 380FL had, otherwise we love our current rig.

Of course it would be better if you didn't have any neighbors behind you. They may not like the scenery that they had to look at. We like having two doors in the bathroom. When we have company staying with us, they can use the bedroom for changing after a shower without coming into the living space.
Thanks for showing the new rigs! The lighter trailers make sense for the higher fuel cost days. One trailer manufacturer is going with the E-Trailer, self propelled. Going to get real interesting soon.

Thanks for showing these units….we’re looking at a KZ Durango Gold but am open to other units as well. That little AIM is definitely a trailer for camping trips not for months and months of travel with the kids! I’d turn the second bedroom into an office as Mike Holczer suggested. Hmmm….am going back for the info & putting it in our RVing binder. Just looked closely at the specs…too long & not enough cargo weight, though without the second bedroom that would increase. We want something close as possible to 30’.
That two bedrooms would be great for a family who has a grandma or Nanny who travels with them so they can do hikes and stuff the kids maybe can't or are two small.

I hope that propane detector is tough 'cause I'm pretty sure it will get kicked when it's on a step riser. OK the screen door on the toilet is kinda weird, but hey I guess there are some ventilation advantages. I'm wondering why the washer cabinet on the 391DL-R doesn't have a louvered door. Interesting tours. I'm not in the market for any kind of a trailer but if I were the bigger ones would be on the list. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Does everyone have as many issues with the one control as we do? It has the buttons greyed out for a while and sometimes needs restarted or off and on to get it to work. Apps are worse.. and had the apps completely fail twice and had to hard reset the one control by removing the main power wire and reinstall the apps...
Those RV refrigerators have better options to run them than the 110v electric only residential refrigerators do. A freid has a motorhome, all stock, with a residential fridge and he has to run the generator to power it while driving or boondocking. It'll run on the inverter but not for a long time. My problem with those is the generator noise and fuel needs in between campsites etc. to run a simple appliance. That "single axel" new model they now make will have its issues with tires I'm going to guess. 15" diameter tires just don't have the weight ratings to compete with 16" wheel and tires. Even trailers that have dual axles with 15" tires have their isues with tires delaminating. Good tires or not, they tend to fail within 1 to 2 years. Solution is, 6 or 8 lug 16" wheels and tires on heavier axles such as 6,000 lbs or more.
I'm safety stunned by the miniscule cargo capacity for the 336M @ 1,800lb and the 391DL @ 1,500lb. I'm in disbelief insurance companies actually cover these 100% over weight rigs. We have a 2017 Winnebago Navion and I worry about exceeding its 1,300lb OCCC. In fact, don't have the auto level because adds 200lb. Just 1gal Water ~ 8.3lb so just 20gal = 166lb no matter if potable, grey, or black. From a family safety risk, must be built on a more load bearing chassis rather than the stock chassis.

Of course, those units are luxury models, and anything under the Riverstone brand is going to be far more expensive than GD. Even though I am so impressed by the new Riverstone products, when I’m ready to buy, it will likely be a GD or similar model as I’ll never be able to afford a luxury brand, and even if I could, not sure I would.
I went to that show. It was horrible. It was so crowded you couldn't move. We ended up leaving at 1pm without looking at a majority of the RVs because of the crowd.
I just checked.. this one was accidentally set to 60FPS vs 30FPS and not all playback devices handle the higher frame rate well. We'll have that fixed for the next video... Thanks for the feedback!
I'm sorry those big units do not seem practical. If you're gonna carry all that stuff with you why leave home. And why limit yourself to what campground you can get into.
The floor plans are great but the color of the cabinets make it look ugly. And with the low CCC your not going to be able to have a family live in there with all of their stuff. The people will wat up most of that CCC

Agree. 1500lbs of carry is a joke. Put a washer and dryer in there and you are down to 1250lbs, or say 312lbs of carry for each of four people.

Holiday rambler and country air used to have dedicated 2 bedroom 5th wheels that were popular with circus and carnival families

BTW those switches in behind the TV are for docking lights. Same as the 376
My favorite version of the 5th wheel is the one with the front living room my 2nd favorite is momentum 397th

Nice Rig, But guys I still don't see any RV manufacture offering drop extensions on the Islands. I built on for our island and we love it.

Those tank valves on the dual living are outside, won’t they freeze?
Generally, only the pull handle is outside and the valve is in the underbelly where it's heated. 👍🏼

We went to the show on Thursday was vets day and less crowded. No way we were doing crowded Saturday. Wanted to talk RV with you. Didn't happen.
