I think what is happening now is the shift from actual musicians to mostly talentless attention seekers. We the audience, are tired of seeing rich children like weirdos, basking in the glory of it all. Its actually awesome how parts of the entertainment industry has turned into a machine to make fun of itself and most of the general public who have meaningful lives are not buying into the farce. I would say anything that comes under Entertainment category (music, movies, sports, games etc) these days. It's better to stay away from them. I don't want to give my money to an person who is already an multimillionaire, doesn't give a shit about anyones existence and probably going to buy an 20 million dollar house for his dog.

Yes! Since I got off social media, I feel better and I started to find 90% of pop culture unbearably boring. It is so refreshing to focus on stuff that is actually around me. I don’t want to sound preachy, but the impact that consuming a lot of tv shows/instagram content/tik tok content had on my brain, was unreal. And I didnt even spend a lot of time on these things compared to some of the people I know.
