At the beginning of the video, I was only expecting to learn the method of how to do a text band around a curved shape, but after 10 minutes, I just can not believe just in this short time I got 5 different kinds of methods to do all diff kinds of text in Adobe Illustrator! This video is amazing, it teaches the viewers valuable contents in a very fabulous way! Thank you so much! Definitely subscribing you!!
I've been a designer for years and move back and forth from physical to digital design. I get rusty when I haven't used illustrator in a while and your tutorials are so clear and to the point that I end up finding what I need quickly. I know this is old, but it definitely just helped out alot. I knew that it could be done, but they always upgrade the features and hide them.. That make it even harder to keep things continuously going... Thanks for sharing this.
Great tutorial - probably the best I've seen yet in terms of speed, clarity and easy to follow instructions! When you discuss MESH warping, (around 11:52 onwards) IMPORTANT: If you just click onto a node and drag it won't warp. You have to click and release one node, then click on it a second time and it will warp. This drove me crazy (using 2019 Illustrator CC) until I figured it out. Click on it first, release, then re-click on the node. The first click seems to put the nodes into edit mode. Only need to do it on one node, then the rest are ready until you click away from main object.
Do you have any idea how many different ways I tried to ask this question in Google? Within 2 minutes you answered everything I needed to kow. Thank you!
Haven't even gotten through the whole video. Love love loved the part about creating the circle and using the scissors to cut it. This makes life way easier.

Super helpful. 1. Tried the Mesh warp with Direct Selection Tool; didn't warp, just moved layer around. 2. I was going to ask if you could tell me how to scale warped text successfully, but when I tried typing along a path, the scaling worked -- at least when not combined with other layers. Amazing. Thank you!

Hello, great video! My question is.. on envelope distort> wrap, it automatically does an upper arc. Is there any way to may it a lower arc? It has the option but it doesn’t look as good as that orginal up arc.
