This brings back memories of 1968. My 1st Motorcycle. They had 13 to 1 compression and you need to understand how to use a compression release to be able to kick it over. They will start easy if you know what your doing. Real Thumpers Ken.

I have one of these and they are bulletproof absolutely I have owned the Shooting Star and the Victor for over 50 years the shooting star on the road will give you at least 65 Mi a gallon the Victor I never pay attention to cuz I'm always cranking the throttle as hard as I can

The Roadster sold many more than the Special,both in the UK and the US.There are far more of the Roadsters still around.

just bought a 1967 just like that one for $1800, not near as clean, but all together, is there a reason why some are round barrel and others are square, same year ? mine is being used as a yard ornament, that's all, beautiful.

'65 to'67 is round barrel. '68-'70 square. But some might have had barrels replaced over the years. I'm just getting to look at mine to get it running. The speedo is 150 mph. What does yours have?
