Hyundai EON was launched in October 2011 with an attempt to compete the hatchback market. It was introduced with 800 CC to compete with Alto 800. Now Hyundai launched EON Magna+ with 1.0-Litre engine. Hyundai Eon is the most affordable hatchback available in the Indian market. Hyundai India launched Eon Magna+ at Rs 4.27 lac (Ex-showroom price, New Delhi) which has dual tone interiors in beige and brown color scheme along with addition of music system with USB and AUX connectivity.
Exterior:
Eon is the new member of fluidic design and is the youngest member in the family. It is smart from front with stylish headlamps, stubby nose and neatly laid out triangular fog lamps. The side profile comes with the shoulder line that flows just below the windows and slightly ends in the C-pillar. The windows for driver and passenger are quite large. It has a body colored bumper with a wide air dam, which is wide and has three stripes on it. The rear end can be described starting with the clear tail lamps which are integrated into the rear cluster of lights and look very stylish. There is a spoiler at the rear end, which gives a trendy image to this hatchback. The boot space comes with 215 litre.
Interiors:
The top trim of EON comes with an integrated music system which supports USB, Aux-In, MP3,. The dash is neatly laid out with enough space for small things. The Knobs for AC are just below the music system. Driver and co-driver get bottle holder in each door. EON offers power window at the front in the top end trim. There is no electric side view mirrors. There is a decent knee room in the rear and headroom is a little compromised. There is a good space for 3 passengers in the rear cabin. There are no cup or bottle holders at the rear and power window is not offered as well. The seats are more comfortable than Alto 800.
Engine and performance:
Engine makes sound and it is clearly felt in the cabin. Bumps and speed breakers also felt in the cabin. Engine of the car is Dual VTVT, 1.0-litre three-cylinder that produces maximum power output of 68bhp and peak torque of 94 Nm at 3500 rpm.
Verdict:
The overall material used in the EON doesn't feel Hyundai. Hyundai is a brand for quality features. EON does not give premium feel in the cabin. There is no much safety in the EON.
I just love the dashboard of a eon its best to look in its segment 😍

Millage per litre..?
I m using eon magna since 6 month and the mileage is 23 kmpl on highway with a.c it's awsm

Very nice car.It shoult come to pakistan.I am pakistani and i am a poor man.I am a car lover and it is my dream to buy cheap luxury car like this. i like indian cars.indian cars are luxurios comfortable fuel saver and low budget.while in pakistan just three compnies are making cars.Toyota honda and suzuki.and pakistani cars are so costly and without safty features.No air bags no abs brakes no fuel saver.for exemple Suzuki mehran is the chapest car in pakistan which price is 7 lak pakistani rupees.and it has no ac no air bag no power window no fuel saver and no alloy rim.i hate pakistani polititions that are not making cheap and international level cars like indian cars..
Faiz Rehman Who said Indian cars are cheap ..they are still out of reach of common man ..it may be to some extent but not for all...the conditions of roads are not good in big cities ...traffic problems ..air pollution hence its not easy to maintain cars here Tata nano is into complete loss ..cheap cars are available without complete package
Does Eon 1L Kappa Mega+ production is going to stop after the launch of New Santro?
What if I buy Eon 1L Kappa Mega+ now in Aug 2018. Will get spare parts in future?
My budget is < 5L. I think the Santro cost >5L with these features.
+pushkar arya We would suggest you to check for the nearest service station for spare parts availability. If the plan is not immediate then we would suggest you to wait for new Santro and see how aggressively Hyundai prices their long-awaited hatch.
It's just rumours, I also used eon and I clarify to this issues on hyundai show room, and they said eon is a successful moving car in that segment so we are not stop product, santro launch for between eon and i10, so don't worry

+Vijay Patyal Yes, you can go ahead with Eon. It is a good city car with good interior space, comfort and quality. But, bear in mind, it does feel older compared to its competition, though. So, we would also suggest you to have an eye on its immediate competitors as well like Tata Tiago, Maruti Celerio or Renault KWID.
Go for eon mileage is awesome
In my owe and used opinion, eon is the best on small car segment in India.
Hyundai-Kia as an auto conglomerate is getting better every year.

+Rupendra Singh Hyundai Eon is available in 0.8-litre & 1.0-litre engine & delievers mileage figures i.e 17.3 kmpl (city) & 21.1kmpl (highway) for the successor and 16.3 kmpl (city) & 20.3 kmpl (highway) for the predecessor. Rest, the LPG variant generates 17.0km/kg & 21.1km/kg. These are claimed figures & will vary as per one's driving style.

Service cost ki baat kare to Hyundai Eon pocket-friendly car rahegi. Hum bhi aapko Hyundai Eon suggest karenge aap ki requirements ke according.
