WINNING MY DEBUT RACE - P3 to P1! | Radical SR3 | Anglesey

- Join me for my debut race in Radical SR3, having only done half a days testing before this event at Anglesey Circuit in North Wales. I took to the car quickly and had some really good speed straight away.
In this race, amongst all the moments of chaos, I drove a good race from P3 to First! I was really happy with this result and I would like to thank FF Corse and Valour racing for the great car that weekend.

Good racecraft and really good patience. The car you passed for P1 certainly wasn't into good clean racing, though. He chopped you multiple times instead of leaving enough room for both of you to race. When you made the pass, he kept turning in until he banged fenders. Good thing it didn't upset your car and he got the worst of it. The guy needs to learn that leaving room to race for all makes for more fun and fewer tears in the end. I bet the next time he is P2 and trying to pass, he curses a driver doing to him exactly what he is doing to you.

Great race. It looked like to me that because you did the dummy on the first corner, you turned in slightly later and actually hit the apex, giving you a better run out of the corner

Cheers mate. It’s something I’ll definitely consider in the future. I just don’t have the equipment, nor the skills to do that quite yet. But I would love to make more engaging and enjoyable content for you
i'm surprised you don't use the shift light module, don't you find the steering wheel leds/display too far below the line of sight? I never look at mine! Also i notice P1 using the centre exit exhaust, so presumably 1 muffler. Does it give a noticeable power difference to the quiet version with the 2 mufflers? If so do you know what it static noise tests at? The quiet one is 102db. - fantastic move btw!
You make a good point with the LED lights, but after a while, it was something that just became natural and I did my shifting based off of engine note instead.
I think the centre exhaust is actually faster if I’m not mistaken, as I was using the quieter version. However, I’m not too sure what the difference in decibels is. It’s definitely load enough 😄

I was at the Iame O Plate, and finished 4th in the final. I’m doing some car races this year to build up experience for a full season of cars next year
