You should have tried the back seat of vehicles as well. SUVs are really poor in rear seat comfort. If your main priority is outside view you can go for SUV. Otherwise its a bad choice. (SUV owner)
It means competing a 100kg man (creta) with a 50 kg weight boy (City) while racing... Centre of gravity is the main reason for sharp handling of sedans
Good initiative . But please make sure you have your facts right before sharing on screen. The new gen honda city comes with 121ps power, and not 100ps as you showed. Yes, it is less than the creta Turbo, but it is more than the NA 113.4 ps engine. Plus, the 1.4 turbo is a whole 2 lakhs on road more expensive than the top end City.
Your acceleration timing for Creta is of 1.4 turbo while for City is of 1.5 naturally Aspirated engine. That's not fair. You should have compared 1.5 NA Creta. Turbo is not in the same price bracket.
No it won't. This test is all about taking turn as fast as possible. New City has something called 'agile handling assist' which is essentially brake vectoring. This feature works by applying brakes gently to the inner wheels which helps in taking corner at higher speeds. If it weren't for those skinny tyres, new city would probably have completed the test at 80 kmph.

5. Creta has 1 inch higher ground clearance, but on bad roads you can't take advantage of it much. You still drive slow and cautiously, so the advantage isnt much. Only place it helps is driving driving down a parking ramp
6. City is more premium on the inside
7. City has a higher mileage
8. City is cheaper and offers similar features for the money. Unless you buy Creta's top model which is 2 lakh more expensive. For the same price, City offers 6 airbags vs 2 on Creta.
9. Honda has better reliability
10. Build quality of City is better. Creta is based on the same platform as Kia which barely escaped 2 stars rating
11. Creta is better for ingress/exgress, better experience for older people
12. Creta has a better road presence
Creta road presence it is seen everywhere now no one will look at it
@@diogenesofsinope2692 Definitely, but almost true of City as well. Far too many of the old gen City on the roads. Creta just looks bigger, that's what I meant by the road presence.
Idek why they advertise Creta as practical. Apart from the slightly high gc and soft suspension a sedan is still more practical imo. The City probably has more boot space than thw Creta, more rear seat space, better handling, etc. Overall, it's actually the City that's more practical imo.
@@aaassaeer the new city is not as popular as the 4th gen so the 5th gen has better road presence
Creta doesn't have better road presence lol, the New City looks 1000 times better than this creta, front and rear both looks much better than creta, I own the new city, I know it's got much better road presence, many people even clicked photos with it😂
Folks at zigwheels ! That handling test is one of the best seen in recent review trends. Kudos ✌️
Why don't you do such a handing test on the so called best handling cars. The Fords ! May be you can give a boost to the sorry sales numbers of the Figo family if it really proves the test 😉
I know it is kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream new series online ?
Lol, this guy has just stolen his wife’s heels 👠 guess he gets beatings from same heels too😂
City stands strong before all of the sedans get replaced by fake SUV s in India. These pseudo SUV are just no better than hatchbacks on raised wheels. Better to go for proper suv or proper sedan .
Expecting Tata to relaunch Nano with more ground clearance and feed crazy thirst of SUV😂😂😂
Higher ground clearance means SUV😀. Is it so..what a marketing gimic..
Honda city 👍🏿💯💖❤️king of luxury car
Kis angle se yeh king of luxury car lagti hai 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I subscribed watching this video... Great meaningful tests... You guys put a lot of efforts in your reviews and comparisons 👍🏻
A SUV should always be a rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, not a front-wheel drive.😅😅
Company :- we r going to launch new segment....that's compact SUV...
Customer:- Wow I m going to buy suv in cheap....
Company:- bsdk ko acha hutiya kata....more ground clearance more hutiya buyer
You have suv with all wheel drive available but you have to pay the price 🤭
Stop saying creta a SUV, it is a crossover (that's not a bad thing)
Sadly Crossover are called SUV's in our part of world😔😔😔😔😔
Honda City Power: 123 PS. Why you are showing 100 PS. Seems like video includes Paid Promotion
The City here is the diesel one not the petrol. The diesel makes 100 PS.
Please do something similar to "moose test" on Indian cars . we really need to test and know about real world capabilities of our cars
To judge Compact SUV handling based on Creta is foolishness!!.. Creta is one of the most ordinary handlers always in its class..
Get a Nexon/ EcoSport n see how close they run to the City in corners..
Still sedan has better handling

Hi From Tunisia, I enjoyed your video, I have already reserved a honda with CVT gear, thank you , your video made me feel more satisfied :) 😘
City for sure 😜
Didn't discuss on the safety aspects, highway manners, boot space, crash test ratings, rear seat comfort etc
The monthly sales number says it all. Creta screams practicality.
Numbers says how many new drivers are in the market who are first time buyers and have no past experience. Moreover majority of people don't have highway requirement where the honda city shines in comparison to crossovers
No talks about safety in India, global ncap testing. Which is more safer car ? Instead of asking for sunroof, ask for 6 air bags right from base model
Hyundai Creta or Kia seltos both have just 3 star rating in safety.
One of the unique, practical and best review 👌
Dont call Creta a Suv..its a crossover built on verna's platform, monocoque chassis,fwd..
Dont call City a compact sedan, its not a sub4m compact sedan Infact its a full size sedan with length equal to d segment sedans..

If there was the Seltos instead of the Creta the conclusion would have been a bit different
Honda is clearly focussed on mileage and that's why they are offering such thin tyres on city. 195-55-R16 could have offered much better braking and handling.
It is 185-55-16
@@sagar2671 I know that's why I said that 195-55-R16 would have been more appropriate.

you are right
and stiffer suspension would make it better handler too
Neither is the Creta a Compact SUV, nor is the City a Compact Sedan. They're both mid-size cars, unlike the corresponding Compact Venue & Amaze
Loved this comparison video. Very apt to have such comparisons.
You should have tried the back seat of vehicles as well. SUVs are really poor in rear seat comfort. If your main priority is outside view you can go for SUV. Otherwise its a bad choice. (SUV owner)
Full points for what you've mentioned 👍🏼
100%
do city manual ffs!!!! you are dis respecting a godly ivtec/vtec manual engine
Cornering test was a m a z i n g
It means competing a 100kg man (creta) with a 50 kg weight boy (City) while racing... Centre of gravity is the main reason for sharp handling of sedans
Good initiative . But please make sure you have your facts right before sharing on screen. The new gen honda city comes with 121ps power, and not 100ps as you showed. Yes, it is less than the creta Turbo, but it is more than the NA 113.4 ps engine. Plus, the 1.4 turbo is a whole 2 lakhs on road more expensive than the top end City.
its diesel on honda
they showed the Diesel idtec
well the naturally aspirated 1.6 and 1.0 turbo hyundai will get smoked by city
😂
One car from UP(northern) another from TN (southern most)? Where you guys in MP? :D
Your acceleration timing for Creta is of 1.4 turbo while for City is of 1.5 naturally Aspirated engine. That's not fair. You should have compared 1.5 NA Creta. Turbo is not in the same price bracket.
City Vs rapid cornering test
Last gen city could have given event tough time in handling to the creta
No it won't. This test is all about taking turn as fast as possible. New City has something called 'agile handling assist' which is essentially brake vectoring. This feature works by applying brakes gently to the inner wheels which helps in taking corner at higher speeds. If it weren't for those skinny tyres, new city would probably have completed the test at 80 kmph.
Am I the only one who feels that this guy looks like bulu biker's brother 😂?
Honda city built quality seems to be flimsy. You should've tested the rapid or vento instead
Built quality doesn't mean exterior sheet metal quality..
It means how the platform, body shell is made, and how many standard safety features it has.. Where city clearly shines
Seltos missed 2 star rating by 0.03 pts in gncap crash test..Creta will also score the same becoz of same platform, chassis etc
Where City scored 5 star in asean ncap which is the same model selling in india, kerb weight is also same

Rip cones in handling test... Great review
Sir. You should have taken IVtech not IDtech. Anyway both were diesel. Thanks for this Hardwork.
In what aspect is Hyundai Creta is called a SUV as it can't handle rough terrain, build quality is no where near even an Indian SUV, Ride and handling is a big question mark what its got is cheap tricks and urban toys splashed all over its interiors and that certainly doesn't qualify for it to be an SUV... Massive marketing budgets are enabling it to retain its market share else its a tin dabba with fancy toys on its dash...
It depends on CG bro. Creta CG is on the higher side, and dies have N impact on turning radius too. You should compare apple to apple version. Not sedan vs mpv...
Correction it's not compact sedan it's mid size sedan.

A lot of customer reviews on new Honda city talks about rattling issues in A Pillar and not too strong fenders. Is it worth a buy still ?
That shouldn’t stop you from getting one. The City is not a global product and ultimately built to a cost. That coupled with horrendous roads will make rattles inevitable. That lovely engine more than makes up for it. ;))
@@xp5158 And that clutch gearbox combo if i may add! Honestly, with the rapid being discontinued shortly the City remains the most VFM performer south of 15 lakhs.
Every car on a budget has some compromises, it’s upto you to choose your own poison. And the City IMO makes the most tolerable ones. The blend of Safety, drivability, spacial comfort, dynamics & reliability is still the best you’ll find in India.
