Can You Daily Drive a Lotus Emira?

- Since this car is brand spankin' new, we'll have to see how the 2024 Lotus Emira Launch Edition ages and how it holds up to daily driving. My experience with the car was truly fantastic. It's certainly a car with character and the six-speed manual just amplifies the experience.
Disclaimer: this video wasn't as organized as previous daily driving videos. I only had a VERY SHORT time to get my thoughts together, so bear with me. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Why dailey drive this Lotus? Leave it for special occasions imo. Lets see more of the car please!
If I owned an Emira... It would be extremely hard not to drive it every day lol. Plus it brings a TON of smiles to people's faces. If you want to see some more glamour shots of this car, check out page 60 of SHIFT Colorado Issue 9: shiftcoloradomagazine.com/issue-9/ we only had the car for about 2 hours that day. 2 glorious hours though :)
Any car can be a daily drive. The issue is do you want to be driving a tiny munchkin car in the land of giants, lol. I have a Lotus Evora GT and a Porsche 718 Spyder. PS The Emira is not a 2024 car, it came out in 2021. At this point, I will only own a manual. I like the involvement with the car. Best!
Cars are getting HUGE these days. I also own a 92 Miata so I know what you mean lol the car we were driving is a 2024 Lotus Evora First Edition, so that’s what I meant when I said 2024. Agreed on the manual!
@@MrKieriosity Yes, I knew what you meant. I was just thinking that because it came out in 21 it was a manual. Thank you for your excellent videos! PS I had a 1990 First Edition Miata! Put 122K fun miles on it. Loved that car! You must be experiencing the same think with the Emira that I did with the Miata, everyone you meet has never seen one before and gets very excited about it.
@@Docinaplane Oh nice! That's awesome that you owned a first edition Miata. Thanks for the compliment! And 100%. The Emira breaks necks and creates excitement since it doesn't really look like anything else on the road (except maybe the Maserati MC20).
