I have seen her many times in concert and when you leave you feel different, you feel your soul has been touched. If you get a chance to see her live, you should. She had her worst mental and physical breakdown in 1999-2000--so much so, she was incapacitated for over a year and did not write or play music. With the help of her husband, Scott, she clawed her way back with the writing and recording of the 'Leave The Light On" album in late 2002 & 2003 . She also had another tough period (addiction and mental illness) around the recording of the '37 Day' album in 2007/08. This song (Sister Heroine) first appears on the 2010 ''My California' album and it does feature Slash on guitar. Beth, along with Rune Westberg, wrote the song. (Beth also appears on, and cowrote, the song "Mother Maria" with Slash from his solo album in 2010).
