Ive played this game so many times and finally did that my last playthough. You really have to wait a long time though, i had her at unprompted level 40 by the time i got the 2nd vigor ball. It’s great to have 3 master monks but at the same time 95% of the time she’s healing or boosting anyways so really not needed in my opinion
There's one thing that anyone forgot......Peter the Phoenix not only can fight powerful like Zylo,but he can't be destroyed......he just returns to the next battlefield with full vital points
Peter is fucking broken. The worst thing about him is that he's cpu controlled until I think right after you meet Valcanon. He's got ridiculous attack, 7 move AND he flies. Crazy
@@greycouch320 After the fight in Moun, instead of going to the Nazca ship, go back to Creed's mansion and you will see that the inside of the mansion looks a bit damaged, and the three recruits that you didn't take will be there in normal size; talk to them then they will join.
@Amar'e Harris I would've been content with two; both the casters (I like to choose Tyrin because I want to have freeze as soon as possible). That is a pretty nice sounding hack though.
@Amar'e Harris Well, doesn't some of the game's data need to be changed in order to get all four recruits from the mansion from the beginning? I am also aware of Karna using Boost to quickly get to level 40 before promotion, although any character would be amazing at level 40 on promotion, it's just easiest to do that with Karna. I personally don't care to get her that high though, I kinda want the levels for everyone to be around the same.
I always take Karna. Just cast boost over and over in battles and she levels up a few levels ever battle. I have went back and collected the other characters but never really used them
@@LetsPlayRetroRPGs agreed. I used to always pick Randolph i think his name was the gladiator guy as i was usually a hack and slash kinda guy in this game. Once you go Karan you wont ever go back

The last time i played was the first time i actually turned Karna into a master monk, and she was level 40 unpromoted by the time i got it. Used to always just use her as healer only. She’s pretty over powered especially casting boost every second turn
The colossus fight / giant statue .... I got to the very end of this game On my steam account back in 2017 But couldn't finish the final battle Edit * the taros / tharos giant .
An easy spot to do early level grinding is in the special stage in the Elven Woods because the enemies infinitely respawn, most notably the lesser demon and mist demon. Fighting the lesser demon and later the mist demon, you can get up to about promoted level 22 maybe higher.
I actually get everyone leveled up to 20 in the fight just before the Kraken! The Arrow Launcher are worth 48 points even at level 19 so I give them to each character until they hit 20! And I keep grinding and Kazin has Apollo before Creed's mansion! My last Chess Battle, I only lost Luke. I also get rid of that useless Kiwi as soon as I get Elric. I've taken that useless Kiwi up to level 40 and he can't take a single hit!

It's actually possible to get the other three characters from Creed's mansion before you fight Cameela on top of the Nazca ship.

The Master Monks are 3 of your best Fighters! I use all 3 to the end and the Special Battle!

@@JoeFpoc got karna on first play through. Eric is decent too but limited use compared to karna who is a better master monk than Sarah.

Golem is Good but His movement is 💩

Give Claude the Golem a Mobility Ring. That'll make him more mobile.

@@bladestar2322Yeah Kiwi is nice in the early game, but really falls off mid to late game. Shame too because he has 7 move and floats
