when it gets colder fish will move depending on what the lakes environment is like. there also may be a little bit of cover there or brush piles, ledge, or rock piles if you get a fishing graph for the front of your boat you could troll around and look for the cover and the fish. also smallmouth love moving water so if the water is moving at a decent speed there they may be fishing for smallmouth

Fish tend to go to the center of the lake when it starts getting colder so my guess is that they were trying to get the ones that have went to the center. There could also be a ledge there with some vegetation that the fish are in. There can also be like a deep pocket there that the big fish stay in waiting for bait fish to come across it so if you take your lure and come across the pocket you might get some big bass too. Just some of my ideas. Keep up the great content man. Love the content.

The people fishing in the middle of the lake are "ledge fishing" basically when there is a spot in the middle of the lake where the bottom comes up then goes back down basically a hill underwater bass will get lazy and sit on the backside of those ledges and wait for bait to come over best things to throw are texas rig,Carolina rig,deep crankbaits, drop shot, spoons etc anything that gets remotely deep 👍
It doesn't even matter what you catch when you're fishing with friends, y'all just have a blast regardless, keep up the content gavin, we want some guns and some more fishing

Or they could be fishing humps, grass flats, or just off main channels trying to catch bass transitioning from deeper to shallow water. Depends a lot on how the lake is set up and what those fish are keyed in on
The people in the center of the lake probably have a fish finder and what a fish finder does is it shows you brush piles and fish like a sonar on a submarine and in the winter time fish usually go deeper for more consistent water temp(most fish)
Now look, I am by zero means an expert, but I know some people sometimes fish bass in the middle of a lake since they have grass brush piles collect in the middle. I know down here in Henderson, that’s how a good bit of people fish. Same in Toledo Bend. People also sink Christmas trees in the middle of lakes for Sac A Lait (Crappie) so they can bed down. Love the content man!

Heck yeah man 3:04. That zoom ol monster in plum is a crazy good worm to use. I throw it on offshore brushpiles a lot either texas rigged or on a 5/16oz shakey head. The shakey head is something different a lot of people don't use an ol monster on. I tournament fish so anything different within reason can give you an edge.
You don't have to hold the key forward to start the truck you can just turn the key and release. The truck will continue to turn over until it starts. So close to a push button I don't know why they didn't just go with it.
