Also in the early days noel got to know Johnny marrs brother and in turn got to know Johnny who went to one of their shows and saw that Noel was spending ages tuning his guitar. He told noel to get a new guitar but Noel hadn’t got much money at the time so Johnny gave him one of his that was originally pete townshends. But of course noel broke it by hitting some guy that got up on stage to start a fight over the head with it. Johnny gave him another one this time it was the one he wrote the queen is dead on and it became his one of noels main guitars.
He wrote slide away on that guitar within a day of getting it & as Noel said it’s like it just poured out from the guitar he’d just received from Mr J Marr. ✌️

They never gave boring interviews! How no one has made their story into a movie is beyond me. They said they were the best band in the world, except for Verve. I'd seen Verve at the 9:30 Club in 1993, and thought the Gallaghers hit the nail on the head with that quote, possibly using the same magical hammer.
When he got hit with the hammer my tech teacher was in the cafeteria and she said everyone was going crazy and the year 7s were crying because they adored him😂😂
It’s kinda crazy how this just happens to people. Wasn’t there a dude who like drowned, or was it some type of serious accident, and afterwards just immediately became a piano legend? Sometimes fate just smacks you over the heads 😂

mad to think Liam never took any singing lessons yeah he's not the best singer in the world but I think he sounded really beautiful on champagne supernova for instance and to think he just decided to be a singer out of the blue is so badass and really impressive
