This film is brilliant, as is the film quality, but why do the Danish store all their oil drums on wooden platforms with only one plank holding them in place? That's asking for trouble.

(I looked it up so you don't have to) "Olsen-banden deruda'" ("The Olsen Gang Outta Sight") is the ninth in the 14-film "Olsen Gang" comedy series. The films were so popular they were completely recreated in Norwegian and Swedish. Wiki says, "The gang's leader is the criminal genius and habitual offender Egon Olsen and his accomplices are Benny and Kjeld. The gang members are harmless, extremely rarely target ordinary citizens, and never deliberately use violence."
@@HPMICHAEL He sets up the right turn by flicking the car to the left first. Done properly, this should break the rear grip and allow the back of the car to slide wide of the turn. The cars respective behaviour (oversteery in the RWD, solid-axle Ford and neutral with a lot of body roll in the FWD, hydropneumatic, long wheelbase Citroën) seems way more realistic than in many American superproductions.

@A real bisexual petrol-head modern cars are dogshit, they all look the same and most brands are manufactured by the same few companies. And the cars are designed for safety, economy, and environmental impact rather than for style, performance and longevity like in the past. Only thing new cars do better is safety, fuel efficiency and rust proofing.
@A real bisexual petrol-head you can't talk about having opinions after you told someone to end their life for preferring old cars 🤣. There's a difference between design trends and badge engineering, nearly every car on the market today has an exact copy sold under a different brand and in the 70s most cars didn't look the "same" like they do now because they were designed mostly by individual designers to suit their image rather then being designed for safety and fuel efficiency. Modern cars do look the same, there are obviously a few exceptions but if you put every hatchback and every crossover on the market next to each other for example you'd find that nearly every single one looks almost the same to the untrained eye, like the Vauxhall Corsa and Peugeot 208, back in the 70s the Vauxhall Chevette looked nothing like the Peugeot 104. And most traffic lights don't look the same, each country uses a certain design so if you were to compare US traffic lights to UK ones or German ones you'd find them very different.
@A real bisexual petrol-head ok mate look at the 2020 Vauxhall Corsa and 2020 Peugeot 208 and tell me they don't look almost identical, obviously cars from each decade have always looked similar but now it's on a different level, most brands are owned by the same few companies and most of these companies share technology and components between them which further thins the line and not all cars from the 1920s look the same that's a ludicrous thing to say, put two cars from different manufacturers next to each other and virtually nothing will be the same about them whilst the same can't be said for cars today. The only muscle cars that looked similar to the Dodge challenger were Plymouth ones since they were both Mopar and the corvette obviously looks like an Opel GT since the Opel GT was basically designed as a mini corvette for the European market.
@A real bisexual petrol-head because cars and soda cans/traffic lights are a bit different mate and if you can't understand why no one cares what they look like them you probably shouldn't be commenting about cars

Yeah, the non-convential axles and suspension design is a mark of Citron, but other french vendors make it very like that, eg. renault. In '80 -'90 many cars of France has strange rear systems based of "reactive rods", and there was no way to adjust it properly; the angles and pitch were different on every wheel, it was an nightmare ;-) And the gearbox putted into engine block, like in motorbike??? Nevertheless, 2CV engine was very modern, because of good tolerances between case parts; no need of sealing, good oil pump, air cooling efficient enough even under tropical terms. BUT COMFOTRT ZERO!

1:06 still happens today on all citroens. Way to stay true to the company!
Really? You must be extremely misinformed in that case.
Nope, its not true.
yes it's true i am french and sorry for my bad english.i ad citroen C5 it's really bullshit car... old citroen was good like c15 cx like video or old ds. but know it's piece of shit. but citroen are not the only to produce shit on modern car..ford and peugeot it's same new models are shit all 2000-2010 is shit for me.
jean bombeur @ Not more "bullshit" than any given overpriced and overrated BMW, Mercedes, Audi with failing engines, etc. But then again, that only applies if you're genuine in the first place. Statistics don't lie by the way.

We used them back in the day as public transportation, called oplet. Using Morris Minor Traveller if I was correct.
1:07 typical road handling for a 2CV. Also, I would advise Danish factories to stack their barrels in a different manner.

@A real bisexual petrol-head yes I have heard of movies. It's a joke, beamng has awesome crash physics, and since there's lots of crazy driving and crashes, the joke is to imply that beamng got better graphics. It's a joke..
