Truck is looking amazing. It be wild( not saying to do it) if you converted your flat top to a twin stick transmission. It’s so old school to begin with a twin stick would just set it apart( once again not saying to do it, I just have a soft spot for a twin stick trans)
Didn't have a good ground is why when you moved the truck the lights started working. I had an International one time had to run a ground cable from the fifth wheel to the frame

Hey brother, my eagle did the same with the new trailer,when I switch pig tails no difference, I even replaced all my relays in the trucks trailer inverter box no difference, problem was on my trailers chocolate blox they rust up and loose contact
Oddly enough it was fine when I drug it home with the blue truck the day before and it’d been over a year since Frank was hooked to a trailer but either way I’m glad they worked and I was able to pull it down the road’ 🍻

No, those are Asian beetles. They look like ladybugs, but are much worse. They swarm on reflective surfaces, (hence why they were all over Frank rather than Ol Blue) they can bite and don't smell all that nice when you squish them.
We call them Harlequin Ladybirds. You are right, they stink when crushed, then loads more of the little sods show up not see what's going on. Loads & loads of them invade the house looking to hibernate. Vacuum cleaner you little bastards.
