have to say this is the best ive seen Chef. very very good form. I've been critical of past couple of bat reps using the same factions and same presenter vs presenter on the trot but Chef has absolutely nailed it this week; passion, wit, knowledge and funny.
Here here! I haven't been as active with the BRs recently but can't wait to see more of Chef after this one

Liking the Red Dwarf quote / reference and an Ork melee army. I know it’s all about flying dakka in the meta, but masses of boyz legging it forward is just the way it should be.

I think the orks pulled a bit further ahead as it seemed you forgot the scenario... objectives remain held until your opponent secures it.

Really fun game boys, one of my favourites you’ve done. Dave was a great guest too. I always think it adds a lot to the reps when you have a third guy on camera/host (when you can I mean I know you guys are always crazy busy).

Maybe you should invest in those neoprene objectives that are the marker and the extra area around. I have some and it is amazing knowing exactly where the edge of the objective is.

Also, if Dave would grace me with a response, how do you feel about a centurion assault squad in a land raider crusader in Black Templar? I bought the box as my first Space Marine army and am planning out how to expand my crusade force.
Personally I think with Uphold the Emperor they have a good chance to get up the board and proceed to wreck face.
Centurion Assault squads can be brutal, but survivability is an issue. With the Vow giving them a 5++ would be really decent against very high AP, but my Centurions tend to die to mass firepower rather than high strength stuff in the past (much like the shooting from the Gladiator in this batrep).
Having said that, the LRC delivery system got a LOT better with the Shock and Awe ability of charging out so it's certainly something to try out. It's certainly increased the stonks of Assault Terminators for the same reason!
@@dave_floorhammer OMG YOU REPLIED! *SWOON!!*. And yeah I was thinking of Assault Terminators as well, but if I were gonna use them I'd probably just deep strike them to cause some trouble in the back of possible. Still, thanks for the breakdown!
