That was a very informative video. There were lots of good tips that I will be using, particularly on adjusting patterns. I may make that in the future if my wife says she will wear it. You are very good with your serger. Clearly you are a highly skilled sergeon.
Brad, I love that we get to sew together! Your wife must love having a personal tailor. Your comment about being a sergeon made me laugh! I will have to use that sometime. So clever!
@@stacyrobbins I have always enjoyed fiber arts of all types. In addition to sewing, I am an avid crocheter and have done some weaving over the years. I learned to sew in a seventh grade Home Ec class but really got more serious about it a few years ago. I had bought my wife a very nice sewing machine but she did not use it enough and it was lonely. Therefore I decided to sew more.
We sewists are pretty impressionable when it comes to a new project! 😜 I often see something and think "That would be so fun to make, but I would never wear/use that."
Thanks for sharing your adjustments and how you decide what adjustments to make. It’s very helpful and I really appreciate it. This sewing tutorial is excellent Thanks for sharing!
I am so happy you found it helpful. Pattern adjustments can be daunting so I try to take the mystery out of it. 😊 I love getting to sew with everyone here! 🧵
Thank you for sharing such a detailed sew along. There is so much learning here with many tips I’ve written down to use right away. Markings using a pin - brilliant, snips and so many tips on sequencing of things and serge or not to serge. I will have to get this pattern! It was exciting to see that one of my next projects M6073, you have a sew along video to that will help with that. And I will share on IG as soon as I can.
I am so glad you found some helpful tips! M6073 happens to be one I have made many times. It is flattering and an easy sew. I am looking forward to seeing your finished project. It so fun see the design choices of other sewists. Happy sewing! 🧵

Great tutorial, overalls are on my list! Your romper is so cute! Another great tutorial. Thanks Stacey ❤
I want to make overalls too! I think they are so cute! I may do an overall dress. I would love to know what pattern you choose.
I'm attempting this pattern right now as a beginner, thank you for all the tips! It was great to watch a video of how it was done before I attempt it
I'm glad we get to sew together! Please check back in if you get stuck. I would love to hear how it turns out.
Awesome tutorial! Thank you so much.
Thank you! 💕
