You do like the yellow tools! I don't have a track saw, I just use a cordless circular saw and a straight edge. Track saws are nice, I don't think I would use them often enough to justify the price. Thanks Mark, cheers.

Think that’s a perfectly good way to cut using a straight edge. I’ve done that for a long time.

Great plunge saw but I’ve got the battery model. I also use the festool tracks as I don’t get on with the single joint connecter keeps twisting 👋👍🤘

Yes I’ve noticed that already about the single joint connection. Good to know the festool will fit it

Hi Mark, Great video and I find myself looking at the piggy bank whilst reaching for a hammer...... Just one query - wouldn't the riving knife get in the way of a mid-material plunge (e.g. cut out for sink), or does it retract if something is in the way? I can't imagine DeWalt wouldn't have thought that through, but worth asking methinks..... Cheers, Martin

      Hi Martin great question 😃
I haven’t used in that way so I don’t currently have an honest answer for you . I’m only using it to cut long cuts on mdf or ply or timber.
I will try and look into it to see if it can do that
      Mark
