The King is not a regular, “dad”. He’s the King of a country where his first obligation is to the country and its people. Excellent example of this rule was exhibited by Queen Elizabeth from early age to her passing. Harry had enough time to meet his father earlier and chose not to do so. People often forget that as well as a father and grandfather, King Charles is head of state and needs to make sure that his actions are not misconstrued or used against government policy. I have been very ill and the last thing I wanted was stress from family. Especially if you are exhausted, nauseous and in pain.
Personally, I don't think the King should be doing all this work and mixing with random people, so soon! His body needs rest; cancer is a ravaging disease and the treatment makes you feel extremely tired! He did the right thing by not meeting Harry, he doesn't need anymore stress! 😖🇬🇧

charles should just tell him to go to hell, harry has no care whatsoever for his father, a man who is undergoing cancer treatment, who should not be put under any kind of pressure, he makes no time for his family his father so why should they give a damn about him
Why the hell should the King make time for Harry the Traitor? I think we should all realise that it must hurt the King so much to know that his son is only 2 miles away and they will not speak. The stress is showing in King Charles' face IMO but I think he's trying to be strong. Don't forget - Harry has completely "rubbished" that family in front of the WORLD for millions of dollars! (and while his grandparents were ill and dying!) Would WE make time for him or his wife if they'd done all that to us? He's ruined his own father's reign and he and his awful wife smile through it all. They have no shame nor feeling. I really fear for the health of the King and Princess Catherine. I will be glad when Harry gets back on a plane out of Britain.
