Amazing as always.
Me oh my! Two videos in one week? Thanks Peter!
Thanks for noticing! 😁 The plan is to release a video at least once a week now. Still experimenting with timing but perhaps every Saturday. Got any thoughts on the best day?
Hello Peter, Which app is currently your favourite or which one do you use the most privately? Todoist, Things 3 or OmniFocus4?
I'd be very happy to use any one of those apps exclusively. And they each have features the others don't. I'm often running two apps side by side to test features since it's my job, which I wouldn't recommend for anyone else. But if I had to use one app for the rest of my life, I'd choose Things 3.
Been and still am a fan of Things but at some time in my career it couldn’t keep up with the complexities I needed to manage. Therefore, I use OmniFocus 4 (with subscription).
Is a perspective like a filter in Todoist but more advanced?
Yes, that’s exactly right
Peter, do you think Things will update their app? Features like the possibility to add attachments, or have geo tags. I keep wavering between OF and Things :(
Not the one from who you asked, but I think they are definitely going to do that. That’s the only way to earn money for them, as they have fallen way back in the competition. The only way they stand out is just the clean interface. While the competition is adding features and also getting the design better. Right now I don’t understand why someone should prefer Things 3 to free Apple Reminders.
I guess the question is: when is Things 4 coming? Such frequently requested features will certainly only come with a new version. One can only hope that Things will offer both: purchase and subscription! And Not only subscription.
@@Cannonballdrive Insights are always welcome! If I didn't already own a license for T3, I would definitely use Apple Reminders. With the latest updates, the app is now quite good.
My guess is as good as yours, unfortunately. I also really want them to add support for attachments and location-based reminders. I literally just emailed them about this (again) a few days ago, but the Cultured Code guys have a strong vision of their own, so we'll just have to see.
