Trying Every Pro Player’s Keyboard Position! - Fortnite Battle Royale

- In this video, I try out pro players keyboard positions and keyboard tilts to figure out which one is the best. I got this idea from two other TH-camrs, Justicul and Kamahley, who also made amazing videos about keyboard tilts in Fortnite. I've always been really interested in pro players setups and how they do things like grip their mouse or tilt their keyboard, so I was instantly hooked and wanted to try some new keyboard positions out. Therefore, I went into game with a new keyboard tilt, everything from 90 degrees like FaZe Mongraal and Tfue, to 45 degrees in either direction like FaZe Dubs and MSF Clix, and gave my opinion on each. On top of that, I talked about the pros and cons for each pro player keyboard tilt, such as the fact you can hit most keys easily on a horizontal or no tilt keyboard but you also lose mouse space. Personally, I play on the Apex PRO TKL and tilt it to the left about 5 to 10 degrees. This is closest to what pros like MrSavage and Benjyfishy play on as there is virtually no tilt or difference compared to a perfectly flat one. So, if you're looking for different keyboard tilts such as a completely vertical keyboard tilt (90 degrees) or something like 45 degrees, then this video is definitely for you. On top of that, this video will help you improve, make you a better player, and teach you more about keyboard tilts and keyboard positions from pro players to help you win more in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Season.

With the 90 degree tilt there’s a technique to it. Basically for a 90 degree tilt to be comfortable you have to lean into it. This makes it so you have more control over your mouse arm which makes this positioning perfect for low sensitivity players. This is why we see people like mongraal using it for example.

Upside down keyboard is the same as a 90 degree one because your hand is still slanted and you can press the space bar with the area near your waist.

To be honest the degree of tilt does not matter, it matters how your hand is positioned over the keyboard and how your arms are positions accordingly. To adjust to a keyboard position, you should adjust your posture and how your arms are positioned. You can use vertical keyboards like a horizontal one if your hand is perpendicular to the keyboard and you can use horizontal keyboards like a vertical one by slanting your hand and making sure the area near the waist presses the space bar.
I switched to slanted or vertical and it was really hard but the result was worth it, I am so much better now

Dude, when i switched to vertical tilt it was back on the low sense meta when i needed mouse space, but when I did it I improved soooo much just because i was using my thumb and pinky a LOT better, on no tilt, I felt my pinky had to go very far to press anything. You need to adapt your binds as well as yourself to the tilt
True, Ive always used it when I played comp games. Hitting c,v,b,n,m,g,h,j are easy to hit with your thumb, I actually did it for that reason, but in lan events playing low sens I cant event imagine not using it lol

The vertical position feels really bad because you tilt your wrist, instead push your whole arm towards the monitor/keyboard to have it resting on the desk from slight above the elbow ( no pressure on your wrist) It will still take some time to adjust, but it wont be painfull.

omg.... I've been playing with the reverse 45* tilt for about 4 or 5 years now and you're the first person I've seen make a video about every single tilt including this one. I'm not sure why you say you lose mouse space because I actually gain mouse space doing this. First tried doing this with my laptop when I started to play with a lower sensitivity and needed more mouse space on my little tray thing for my laptop. I would slowly tilt it more and more to that reverse 45* angle and really didn't know something like that was uncommon. Anyway, that's enough of a long comment, loved the video and I hope to see more interesting stuff.

This review is somewhat very wrong, the main reason as to most people for tilting keeyboards, is so they can rest you elbow or forearm on the table, and not have it tightly into the body. Maybe say you arent an expert first and that people should not thrust these positions 100% since you risk people getting a damage for fake information.

There are some TH-camrs who do not help with vids like this but there is Jerian who actually hepls you like his how win more fights his pre fire damage tips was super helpful and made me win tons of arena fights that I never one when I w keyed
