Id recommend going half size up! Im a Size 9 with narrow feet and i usually get size 9 shoes for yonex. Got these in a size 9 and they fit very snug. Would recommend going half size up!

Im a US 12 on Adi, Nike, UA with a wide foot. I've had problems with shoes hurting the sides on my foot. When I used your tracing method. My foot was 27cm in length and 10.1cm in width. I measured it like the pen really touching the soles.

I dont think 12 can measure as small as 27cm!
Or maybe you use size 12 to accommodate your wide foot, which in that case I wont recommend this shoe, or any yonex shoe (maybe wide fit ones are fine). Regarding the tracing method, id imagine you slant the pen to “dig” to trace where your foot touch the paper. Try to keep the pen perpendicular to the paper and let the pen barrel run on the edge of your foot. You’re not tracing your literal footprint but rather the top projection of your foot if that make sense

@@bernardibrahim Ooooo so when going for wide yonex shoes like 65 X 2 or comfort Z 2 wide. Do I still need to size up or stay true to size?

@@mathewnemenzo8947 So, in my experience yonex shoes are true to size, especially if you use the japanese sizing (cm) however most people consider yonex shoes are narrow, so if you have wider foot, then wide fit is a no brainer. I dont have experience with other model, but i tell you this, badminton is a footwork laden sport. Personally ill avoid sloppy fit so i choose tight fitting anyday. If possible just find a store that carry yonex, or maybe ask your friends if they have one your size if you can try them

I'm a US size 10, I should get the 28cm one right? How bout the grip of the sole what can you say about it?

I would suggest you to do what I did. Trace your foot on a piece of paper and measure the length, add 5mm and get that size. If you like your shoes to be close fitting, just get your direct measurement. Yonex uses centimetres for their shoe sizing in 5mm increments and true to size at that. Refer to the table in the video to determine if your foot is wide, if so, it is a good idea to upsize. Yonex shoe is known to have narrow fitting, but as long as you don't have wide feet I would say fitting is nice and snug. Regarding the sole, I will compare it to my Victor shoe. I would say, in a dry rubber mat court, the Victor have more grip but it is very slippery when perspiration begins to be present. Other than sole pattern, or groove if you will, the Aerus have this fine texturing that makes it not as grippy when dry, its not far off but just not as grippy. But it is so much better when moisture is present. I would imagine when well worn and those texture begins to abrade, it will perform closer to the Victor. Hope this helps.

What size do you wear usually in US

I measured my feet, it’s 26cm length and 10.4cm width, which size would you recommend?

Most of my shoes are US 10, but I feel in need for tighter shoes for sports, in this case I got the size 9.5 Aerus. Your feet seems wide, so I wouldn't recommend what I did to you. Yonex shoes are generally narrow, most of my friends confirms this. For comparison my Aerus is tighter than my Victor. But I feel like you can always tune your fit by getting thicker socks or grip socks (try trusox) with slightly loose shoes.

Jadi maksudnya, ukuran kaki 27.5cm, beli nya juga 27.5cm ? Ga di tambah sama sekali ya?

Iya, pengalaman saya dia true to size, ikut cm aja biar akurat, karna kalau badminton kalau sampe kakinya geser di dalam sepatu bisa undang cidera.
Tapi catatannya kalau kakinya wide mending cari sepatu wide aja, sepatu yonex yang di line utama tuh runcing, sempit di bagian depan. Kalau saya pribadi sih suka sepatu yang rapet banget, tapi kalau sampe sempit sakit mending cari yang wide
