2024 VW Jetta - It’s On Tinder

- Has the Volkswagen Jetta overstayed its welcome in the sedan segment? With Volkswagen building more SUV's and moving their focus to Electric Vehicles, is there still space for the once glorious Jetta Sedan? Should the Jetta give up and go home? We aren't quite sure Volkswagen is ready to give up on their only sedan in North America. The Jetta still has so much to offer in a segment that has been cornered by the Japanese automakers Toyota and Honda. Volkswagen still knows their above average sedan can compete, and compete well.
The 2024 Volkswagen Jetta has the ability to adapt to any driver. Volkswagen has put together great trim levels, additional packages, and have kept the GLI name plate for their sporty version of their sedan. With great entry level options, you don't have to break the bank in order to get something nice, but if you want more features and even better power, Volkswagen will be able to fill your sedan shaped void.
Join us this week as David and Jared investigate the once mighty Volkswagen Jetta, and see if it still offers enough to stay longer in the automotive world. Everyone has a Jetta story. Come along and see ours.
*Thanks to Volkswagen Waterloo for letting us review this 2024 Volkswagen Jetta*

I am on my second Jetta. Take it from someone who has been driving Jettas for many years. This car is so underrated!
That’s awesome. Thank you so much for commenting. We love real drivers. It’s better information than we can give with the short time we have the cars.
Hello. I got my first Jetta and I have a question that until now, no one answered. Is there a way that the doors keep locked when I put the car in 'parking'? All doors unlocked when I do this function. Thank you in advance.
Informative and entertaining review gentleman! I love that it still comes in manual transmission.
For now! The manual will probably go away soon. May it Rest In Peace. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your video. Very informative. I just got my first Jetta 2024. I drove over the years, Toyota, Nissan and lately Honda CR-V. Most of the time SRVs. I chose this model and brand because of the gas mileage, price and reputation and so far I like it, it's very smooth to drive. I have a question for you that so far I feel unsafe. When I put my car in 'parking', all doors unlocked. Do you know how could I change this? Thank you in advance.
Just bought a 24 se great so far haven't played around yet
It’s a great car. A forgotten car among Corollas and Civics, but those who own them know of their greatness. Enjoy it. We know you will. Thanks for watching.
jedda red
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching. :)
Are you sure that’s the average driver profile for the Jedda?
We are open for other suggestions. Who do you think?
Wait, David is British? Huh. The things you learn in this crazy world of ours!
The Jetta looks like a fine vehicle but it also seems to be a bit on the smaller side. As a gentleman of similar stature as Jared would you say it is more made for our Mini-Me sized clones or could it work for you more full sized features?
I know! I always thought he was from Cucamonga!
As for the space, Jared was wearing his big coat. Space is still enough in the Jetta, but if you’re looking for loads of it, you’ll have to search elsewhere.
As always, thanks for watching.
I am driving my second Jetta. This car is plenty roomy.
If its gonna have a facelift for 2025, does that mean i should wait instead of buying the 24
Great question. It really depends on what’s important to you. Price wise, the 2024 will have lower interest and price when the 2025s are released. However the 2025s will have a new look. Whether you like the look will have to be determined. In the end, the choice is yours. Good luck!
I bought a 2024 se manual. Will see if it’s a turd
We think you’ll love it. If you don’t, let us know. We love hearing from real drivers. Did you choose the Jetta over anything else?
