LG 7kg 2020 Model (FHT1207ZWL) Washing Machine review | Factors to consider for new washing machines

- In this video I have explained the factors we considered while buying a new washing machine and why we chose the LG 7kg 2020 model i.e., LG FHT1207ZWL model washing machine. I have also explained some of the maintenance activities for this washing machine for longevity and the features of this washing machine. This is a fully automatic front load washing machine with 14 inbuilt washing options, touch screen, digital display with 10 year warranty. It has latest turbo wash feature which enables more efficient and quicker wash. In addition there is steam wash which helps us to run a run a steam cycle for kids cloths or sick person’s cloths to fully eliminate germs. This is a 5 star rated energy efficient washing machine.
We purchased this washing machine for around Rs. 33,000 from below link. We purchased the washing machine stand and cover from LG service person who came to install the washing machine for Rs. 2,000.

Please, I would like to know the programs that you use, i.e. for white, light and dark colors, and winter clothes such as wool, silk, kitchen and bathroom towels, and the appropriate temperatures for each type of washing, how many rinses, and how strong the squeeze is.

Hi, It makes some noise while spinning as shown around 11 minutes in the video. It’s comparatively lesser noise than the washing machines we used before. There is a ‘silent wash’ option if you want to reduce noise. This option reduces the RPM while spinning. Thus, noise will be lesser.
@@hobbiesandmore thanks for the really quick reply. I don't mind usual noise but there are some videos in which this 7kg machine begins banging the door and vibrates a lot while drying initiates.
@@winemp3133 only once when I tried to wash a big thick door rug which is not flexible to bend, it vibrated more than usual and the noise was more. Even then the washing cycle got completed. It did not get struck. I felt its my mistake to try to wash a rug which doesn’t bend enough to be washed in a washing machine. Other than that one instance, there are no issues so far.

If the load is full, that is around 7-8 pairs of cloths, then I put 1/2 cup detergent and 1/4th cup comfort

Yes, reaches about 50% in turbo mode. This mode helps to wash efficiently with less water. We are using this option for most of the washing cycles.

There is some noise when you overload it or when the stand is not fixed properly. We bought in on tatacliq.
Has it Self tub clean option?
To clean the tub, there a powder using which an empty washing cycle should be run. This powder will remove any scales formed in the tub. Also, there a tube in the bottom front of the washing machine using which we can drain out all water when needed. Other than these 2 options I don’t see any self tub clean option. Does that answer your question?

Hello sir, accessories (water pipe, stand, cover) install cheyyataniki vachina service person ee techaru. Water pipe is free. Stand and cover ki Rs. 2000 tesukunnaru. Washing ki Surf Excel front load washing machine liquid and Comfort fabric conditioner vadutunnamu. Hope this answers your question.
You are washing machine put it on stand, but company not recommend that
I agree. May be it is best to keep it directly on floor to reduce the vibration during spin cycle. But, we wanted to keep it on stand for easy cleaning and to keep the bottom surface dry at all times.

@@somyasardhara8461 not much noise when the load is around 7 kg. When you put more load or heavy items that can’t spin easily, then there is more noise and vibration.

Detergent tray lo block ayyindemo chusara? It is advised to take out and clean detergent tray atleast once in 15 days. Nenu prati washing cycle tarvata detergent tray lo koncham water undi potunnay, avi tesesi, dry chestunnanu.

In FHV1207ZWB model size was very less when compared to other 7kg models. May I know how can I check size of the drum when we check the model in the online. Is there is any to check the drum size in the specification? Please respond.
I am not sure if drum size is mentioned in specifications. Drum size of the model mentioned in this video is sufficiently large for 7 kg load.

@@rikabchand6036 from my experience, there should not be much difference in power consumption unless you use hot water wash every time. These latest washing machines take water basing on the load.

Not much noise when the load is within limit and if the stand is stable. If not, there will be significant vibration and noise.

You need to install LG ThinQ app on your phone and switch on WiFi on the washing machine. Then, the app will detect the washing machine and pair it with your home Wi-Fi.
