Thanks for posting this! There's not nearly enough photos and videos of the place as there should be and ever one that can be found is precious. I find myself wanting to save the arrow still remaining on that sign, even now it looks like there's still enough of it there to be restored if in the right hands, if I had the space to keep it I'd try to save it myself. I also wish there were some photos of the "sputnik" sign (I guess that was its nickname) that was next to the Colstone restaurant too, the sphere with the neon lit spikes sticking out of it, it used to fascinate me as a kid and I always wanted to see it lit but never did. Edit: I finally figured out what the "Sputnik" sign was actually called. It was called a "Roto-Sphere" sign, it took me FOREVER to find that out and I wasn't able to find anything out about them until I searched with that name. The Colstone Pancake Restaurant is apparently the worst documented defunct business in history and researching that got me nowhere, however there's a number of really cool videos on TH-cam showing other Roto-spheres. I guess they were a trend briefly in the 60's but quickly fell out of favor when owners began to understand how difficult they were to maintain and service given their mechanical nature, they're quite rare and valuable now and few still exist, I don't know what became of the one I used to see and sadly I suspect it went to the scrap bin :(

2021 and the sign is still there.
Thanks, best one yet!
Pretty sure the dude on train is flipping the bird at the camera at 1:59. Savage.
