Just A Brief Greenhouse Chat While Sowing Runner Beans 🫛

- Monday afternoon/evening and a wee nip into the greenhouse to sow a couple of Runner Beans into pots. Whilst I'm there, a quick check on the seedlings and a quick stir of the Nettle Fertilizer. Here I am for a little Greenhouse Chat and some sowing runner beans.

Yeah. I tried to make it chilled. I follow a guy called @TheSwissSimpleton and he is inspiring me to adopt a slow living approach to life.
@@TheBeginnerGardener I think that’s a great approach to life and gardening.
Chard is such a great thing to have growing, it's great as a side or for adding a little something extra to stews or a curry. Runner beans are best picked young or they can get stringy, you can steam or boil them and use as a side for a roast or served with some butter melted over the top. Yum!
Hiy. I think I'll be direct sowing my chard tomorrow 🤗. Can't wait! Runner beans haven't yet germinated 😬. I have my fingers crossed 🤞. I wonder whether I should succession plant my Chard 🤔.
@@TheBeginnerGardener I only do chard 2 or 3 times a year as the plants last really well and don't get bitter when they start going to seed.
The Merlin App is brilliant I use it. You might want to move the nettle fertiliser outside somewhere far away as it smells so pungent in time 🤢 but agree fab for ur plants
Shall relocate it this morning 😱. Certainly don't want a stinking greenhouse 😜.
I just put some extra runners on about 10 day's ago, they are absolutely flying 7 inches tall already
