good video and job lots of logs. every thing is really high now you have to save where you can. hope flooding was not bad there we had a little it had been so dry here ground soaked up most oif it. take care, be safe and well
Looks like y’all have been busy, before you know it Jennifer will have the house there and living on the home stead, now if Patrick was there also that would be nice have the family together. Anyway thanks for sharing and always I enjoyed watching.
The price of lumber here is so outrageous here. I saved well over the price of my little mill in just the first year. You have a great collection of logs there. That will keep that fine mill of your running for a little bit. Woodmizer makes a fine machine but I’ve never understood why they have it set up to blow the dust out on the operators side. Have good weekend!
Richard have you thought about trying to find an old farm grain Conveyer to install as the saw dust collector for the saw mill, and put an expanded metal top on it so you have a good walkway. This way you would not be walking in the sawdust and all you would have to do at the end of the day sawing, is turn on the conveyor and move the sawdust to a wagon. I see old grain conveyors sell at farm auction for as little as $200. It is just an Idea. Also for running the power to the shop/ saw mill, dig a deep trench to the solar panels and then run trench over to the shop from the panels and and drop a 3rd conduit in the trench for the shop, it appears the run will be shorter from the solar Panels to the shop that from the power house to the shop. dig trench to one of the end post, instead of the middle post, as the solar panels will be connected in series on one array, if it is in the middle you will have to run a long cable from the end of the array to the middle, and if you conduit goes to the end closest to the shop, then you have a shorter run the solar ray to the conduit to the power house.
Good idea but would need another inverter for the shop if we go from solar panel. In series on arrays and parallel to hut according to company. Like the idea on the conveyor. Will see what happens in near future.
@@OutpostReview Richard I am talking about a conduit for AC power. You should not need an inverter, Have the master breaker panel in the powerhouse, and a sub panel in the cabin and the shop/ sawmill.. You will have a conduits for DC power from the array to the powerhouse and the conduit for AC power that would be in the Trench to the shop / sawmill.
Hi Richard, I really enjoy your builds. Quick question, the extension you are going to build on to your mill, instead of three feet, why not make it 4 feet.
Good morning Richard, boy them neighbors create a lot of background noise don't they? LOL Looking great around there and moving right along with your projects and Jennifer's too. I like that tailgate extension you made. As well built as the sawmill building is, can you come up with a beam above the mill going back into the building centered over the mill that you could install a powered winch to use to roll your logs when you need too while they are on the mill ? Something with a remote control so you would be able to wrap and roll them by yourself? Looks great around there, so glad things are going great around there for you all. Stay safe and keep up the fun. Fred.
When your house is completed you can call it 'power house" like Wild and wonderful when your solar panels are finish, you can direct your charged panels to the power house and your convertor can relay power to your house and that of your daughter
Great savings. It seems that they are progressing quickly in the construction of Jenifer's house.
Moving right along
Si se puede aprovechar toda la madera posible siempre hay en que utilizarla ❤
That’s right. Save it all
What a beautiful place you got keep the work going richard
Thank you, I will

All is well here. Thanks for watching
Can't wait to see the solar hooked up
We can’t wait either

Patrick isn’t moving back. He likes it in Texas. But Jen will be here
👍👍👍

I don’t know either. I’m sure it could be moved. Have to get started on my shed for solar. Fall is here
You are going to have a busy winter.
Yes we are
In England, P C Plod wouldn't like that fitting to allow you to carry longer lumbah. It covers up the rear number plate.
Actually it doesn’t but I understand. It’s visible as it is with tailgate down.

I think I have a solution. Wait for it. You’ll be surprised

That’s a good idea and already in the plans for the future. Probably next year.

Daughter is to far away. The power wouldn’t make it down there. She is 3-400 ft away. It will only make enough for the cabin
Paint the ends of the logs to preserve them. It stops checking especially when you're not able to use them anytime soon.
I need to do the lumber logs that way for sure. The posts I’m not concerned with. But your right on the logs
Hi is that going to be Jen permanent home xx beautiful land x
Yes it is
Richard educate me but with building down there in the bottom won’t there be more mosquitoes and is subject to flooding?
No because dirt slopes away from the house. Mosquitoes yes.
@@OutpostReview well at least you will have your daughter close by. Good luck with the building.
Gutters ?????????
Someday. Can’t do it all at one time. lol, now Jennifer is right in the middle of everything
