when you dig up the Totem 4 normal skeletons (no captains) spawn that each drops a little gold thing you can sell but i dont think you make 5k out of it, maybe 500 each@@nexus1999

yeah misleading title just to lure in viewers. He could have gotten more by just removing a few of those chests and then drowning to get the extra gold piles but he ignores it all just for a chest that won't give him as much as he could have made
the getting to the vault and opening the puzzle is the easy part. gathering the loot solo is the "hard" part
Better to have atleast two people for these, you can get everything besides all the gold piles if you hustle enough

You also only need 2 medallions. Just put the first two combinations in and find the last one with both of them, after that you fill in the blank with the third one.
When me and my brother play we can clear out all the chests and gold plus the ancient chest

You don't even need to put in the third and final medallion. - It's easy to figure out on the fourth "block" which one that's missing.

@@jamesholdaway7347 it's faster to go through drop all chests, and medallions you find. you will most likely see 2 without searching specifically for them, put the 2 in, figure out the rest, then take all the chests out the vault.
@@idontknowanygoodnames1498 I don’t know how many people you play with, my strategy works very well with 2 or more people because one person gets the ancient tribute chest which takes around 10-30 seconds while the others offload chests. I play with my brother on a duo sloop so he will jump around the top dropping everything down while I get the chest, after I get the chest we grab everything out once everything is out start on the gold

The only real tip in here is that you only need the X, not the entire map. Other than that it's just leaving treasure behind to save time. Most people are going to take as much as possible with them though. I'd leave cups and trinkets behind, but captains chests? You bet I'm grabbing that. If you're solely grinding out the vault commendations then yeah, this is faster. But also if you're at the point where you're grinding commendations only, you're in the top 1% of this game and don't really care about gold/rep anymore.

Literally the only hard part about this is getting the right piece of the map
Piece of info I recently experienced: if everyone in your crew dies at the same time after you finish the vault the secret door that you open with the key will close. Friends and I got surprised by exploding skelly and lost all the loot
So if I have multiple keys and I get all the loot out all I have to do is die and the vault will reset? That's good for stacking quickly, thanks

Oh they are.
Its the simple mistakes like the key direction that usually get me if I'm not paying attention.
The puzzle isnt supposed to be the difficult part. Getting all the loot out in 3 minutes is the challenge. Only going after the 1 chest is rather pointless.
All puzzles are easy once you know the solution. Trying to figure out what to do the first time without using google took us 2 tries.

How much is the chest worth?
Don't want to harm your feelings but your speedrun method is bad. It's a lot quickier to do it without any medalions(possible to do it in about 15 seconds). By just looking on the 4th block you can guess the right combination.I believe if you get really unlucky the slowest time would be one minute( that means that 3 other "versions" of the 4th block were wrong). It always works out for me, when I don't do something wrong or get confused about the combination. After a few times it gets easy and the vault is usually done in under/about 30 seconds. And it's a cool way to impress your crewmate.
This isn't a speed run guide.

I know this video is two years old but wow I would be embarrassed to post this if it were me.
Not only did you forget the solution twice even though you had all three medallions costing you precious time before the door slams shut but you also took nothing but the Chest of Tributes.
How lazy can you be? Of course you think the vaults are easy solo if you only want the Chest of Tributes.
Try getting all of the captains and marauders chests plus the high value gold trinkets plus the Chest of Tributes out of the vault before the door slams shut as a solo player.
I challenge you.

1. Grab the first medallion to do the 1st block
2. Use the first block and your brain to reduce the possible answers for the 4th block down to 1-2
3. Use the 4th block to guess the 2nd and 3rd block
This was terrible. You only need 1 medallion. Takes 30 secs to do the puzzle. Gives you 2 mins 40 secs to collect chests.

@@turtleeatstomato8572 It means they ran five vaults and kept the loot on the boat rather than selling in between runs.
turtle eats tomato no it’s just where you do 5 of something and you keep it and how very many you have on your boat before you sell it # stack so I did 5 vaults and kept them on my boat but someone sunk me and I lost it all

Only start vaults at Golden sands or sanctuary, you'll get crescent isle keys 95% or the time, I do them in 15 min solo

which is the min lvl of hoarder compass that requires to do these vaults?
I see he uses the Revered Hoarder compass which is at lvl 40, but can you do it for example with Famed Hoarder Compass which is lvl 30?

He said for the sake of this video. You can still grab the rest of the loot if you’re quick enough, and just put it right outside the door, then pick up gold as the room fills and then later come back for the chests
Have they updated this because my friend and I did one and it didn’t take anywhere near 30mins for the door to open it was only around 1 min

Quest from gold holders, you need 25lvl in GH for Stone vault with seafarerd and castaways chest, 35lvl for Silver vault with marauders and seafarers chest, 45lvl for gold vault with captains chest and some marauders, Best quests in gold horders

I have a question... when you have multiple keys to the same vault, what do you do to reset the vault so you can do it again and again? I think you did it in a stream once
Horrible advice man. U mention somthing 80% of ppl know. And then proseed 2 give bad advice on how 2 handle the vault and how 2 deal with the stuff inside and prioritize
Okay but how many to clear it out completely -_-. So many vids saying how to solo a vault and then they show with friends or they say "Only grab puzzle chest and captains". No completing a vault is running it dry and that takes a minimum of 2 people if they know what theyre doing or 3 if you want to empty it without rushing.

Tip- duo would be better if someone started getting all the other chests while one person do the puzzle and just get as many outside the vault and let the water kill you and grab sum gold ✨

I can’t open the vaults they won’t open I put the totem and everything I’m waiting for so long
this is a terrible video it was rushed and poorly done, i had a vault key and wanted to watch a video to learn how to do it before i used the kay and i got screwed and didnt get any of the loot
the door shut on me before i could do anything. i put the medallions in and then i matched up all of the first 3 blocks and then after that i matched up the fourth block as you said with the combination of the first three then i went back and pressed the button like 30 times and the door wouldnt open and by the time i realized it wasnt going to work it was too late and the door shut and it flooded and killed me. i tried to go back after and watch you video closer but you dont really explain anything at all and you constantly zooming around and i cant see your blocks really and you just have on screen prompts saying what to do. its all good tho i like your channel and stuff but this particular video just wasnt well done lol thanks tho!
Yesterday I solved the puzzle with only one piece, it was a cup and then I went to the last column to see the combination that involves the cup and I got it 2nd try

Vaults are easy yes , but lets not ignore the fact ya needed 3 medalions when 1 is perfectly enough and the fact ya had the combination already done and still messed up 2 of the pillars.
I mean yes they are easy but i hope people dont search this video as a guide since its not and its fair to say he doesnt rly do them often since he doesnt have to use them for gold earnings.

That's kinda misleading. It's easy as fuck to do this solo if you're only going for the one chest. I thought this might help with getting any of the other loot

The only way to get lots of good chests is by being level 40 or 50+ when you buy the voyage. Otherwise, you get a crappy key and crappy chests.

Tip; if you have more than 3 brain cells you can figure out the puzzle with only one medallion, it’s actually really really easy once you know how the combinations work. The first ever time I did my ancient vault I did it with only one medallion, so you should aswell

@@Iz1003 super easy. See what symbol the first medallion shows. And on the fourth pillar make sure to have that same symbol as on the first pillar. The rest of the symbols on the fourth one are the same as on the second and third pillar. If that made any sense lol

Vault voyage available from GHs on rep lvl 25+. It's like a super GH mission, but if you're unlucky with map pieces it can take a while. I've had the x on the first piece and on the last. It can suck.
