You looked at a lot of unusual things like you used to. I was hoping you wouldn't stray from your eccletic style when all that art glass started popping up in your previous videos. The excitement in your voice is priceless!
I am absolutely loving these longer videos from you! I also love when you’re shopping at the Heart Of Ohio! Thanks for taking us with you! ❤😊 Edit- 23:56 I love the stained glass sun face! Great find! (I love anything celestial- sun, moon & stars:) 🌞
I love children’s suitcases - I think it’s because it reminds me of my childhood. I had a cardboard suitcase and stored all my Sindy clothes in it. Liberty London make cardboard suitcases with their floral fabrics, they’re lovely.
I lived 25 years in Chico, CA , home of Orient and Flume. The studio took its name during its early years because it was on the corner of Orient and Flume Streets. I did escape California with a glass chili pepper made by a O&F artist. We became friends when we were in a glass class at Chico State. Small world.😊
Wendell August Forge sell for really good money. Especially his trash cans. Jocelyn is always looking for his trash cans😃 I bought a magic 8 ball in 1994 when i lived in the US and it made it all the way home to Denmark. I still have it but it doesn't really work anymore😔
Oh, my goodness Kate, I'm gonna have to start saving my pennies up. I love almost everything you buy. The Art Nouveau pieces you showed along the way........Stunning!
Hey Kate, had to go looking to see whats what, about Helio Glass. Only 2 makers Cambridge and a new Bougie Glass Boutique in NYC called Niche and theres is clear for interior lighting. Cha ching! So to answer your question i think all those colors but only purple is helio. Heres the word from wikipedia: Helio (Cambridge Glass) is a type of glassware produced by Cambridge Glass, beginning in 1923. The color of Helio has been described as part of the purple family and has been compared to the color lavender. It also falls into the category of opaque glass, but the color changes depend on the light source. The variation of purple differs between pieces, but the color is consistent within the piece itself.[1] It is believed that Helio was only produced for a short time because it is not mentioned in trade journals after 1924.[2]

That candle holder looked like Ransbottom which is made in Roseville Ohio, but not Roseville pottery. Still cool though.
