SNK composers absolutely cooking as always
This game is sooo beautiful! I don't like 3D era of SNK fighting games but damn, this style is the right choice!
I think Terry's Power wave needs to be a little bit bigger in size like they made his buster wolf shockwave. Remember how big the shockwave was in Mark of the wolves and how cool that looked. Overall, this game looks amazing.
Is it just me, or does anyone else love that new music in the very first fight against Preecha?
It's nice to see Japanese game makers starting to introduce Thai characters who represent Muay Thai. Japanese fighting games have exploited Muay Thai for decades but very few games have playable Thai characters representing Thailand's native martial art. Only Street Fighter series has Sakat from the beginning. Tekken only introduced Fahkamram a few years ago (Tekken 7). I'm not sure why this is the case for just Muay Thai since other forms of martial arts always have native practitioners representing it in fighting games; and Muay Thai (and its superstars like Buakaw) is globally popular. There really is no excuse for not having a Thai character representing Muay Thai (Perhaps it's a sort of racial discrimination which is a common problem in East Asian countries, Japan included, in a sense that they always look down on people from Southeast Asia. It's a shame tbh.)
Terry Bogard is so cool! Especially his MOTW design. He's one of my favorite SNK male characters. Along with Kyo Kusanagi, and Iori Yagami.
The three best of course, but iori is a little bit above for me his design is just wild

Garou is a special game! It have its unique feel and I am glad I clearly recognize Mark of the Wolves in this new one! This is going to be a blast with this technical GEM.

Seriously, the only glaring annoyance in City of the Wolves is the announcer shouting "COUNTER!!!" and "PUNISH!!!"
It's probably for the newcomers to the game. I am certainly not a newbie to the game, but I actually like it. However, your opinion is valid and respected, my fellow fighter.

@@pockydoggbossthat only happened because fatal fury is literally from the Art of Fighting Universe. Geese was an upcoming fighter aka AoF 2. Fatal Fury is years after the AoF storyline.
I'm a little concerned about the super meter, preecha lost 2 rounds and she didn't even have 2 bars, it seems heavily favor the offense side.
U need to actually hit them lol or used skill at least if u just let them hit u stupid because u have just defeace super armor defence too

That's just because there's a huge gap between the players' skills. 2 great players could show us a spectacle.
You never played Garou right?? The damage was massive there i can even say the damage is less now, even some special moves (not super) can take 1/4 of a life bar, 2 combos with TOP actívate and you were out and the feints werent so much diferent there compared with the cancel combos here
At least the game now give you more defensive options than Garou
It's almost the same art style as Street Fighter IV
