Vizal Thanks mate ! Actually you will soon : I'm releasing an EP around march-april ;-) Videos are on their way for the next weeks (follow me on FB to be sure not to miss them ;-) )
Is that a pulse/square wave for the Aphex lead? I’ve seen it replicated really well by only two people - you and this other guy who has a tutorial. I get pretty spot on with a square but this other guy uses a sine with distortion. Which I would never think to use but works great as well.
Ivan Petrone Thanks Ivan, glad you liked it. You'll surely see more of my work in the next 6 months (and even 2 years), I have tons of projects to come. See you ;-)
It's a MIDI controller called "Push", made by the company Ableton (which edits a music software in the first place). The one in the video is the 1st version, they produced a new one since. You can check it out here : www.ableton.com/en/push/ and all over TH-cam ;-)
Many thanks! This looks so cool! I figure it is 'just' a MIDI controller so I would need to wire that up with something which actually generates the sounds, e.g. a synthesizer or so. I also assume it only really makes sense with the Ableton software then? I am looking for something which could (and if only optionally) be used more or less standalone. Or could I just wire this up to my Korg Triton synthesizer and go? (Yes, I am a bloody novice, I fully admit.)
I just realized the pattern of lights in the opening scene is the Aphex Twin logo. Massive like!
haha, thanks ! you're the first one to notice it ;-)
Wonderful cover, I don't normally like people covering legends but this is an exception x
Thanks Billy ! Actually, I wasn't measuring how legendary Aphex was at that period of my life : I'm pretty sure I wouldn't do it again now ^^
been here 100 times, my fav live remix
Thanks for this comment, I'm glad you enjoy this ;-)

Hello :)
Whow, I like this! What kind of machine is this with the illuminated button matrix?

No problem man, we all started as novices ;-) Yes it is just a midi controller, you need to hook it up to Ableton Live, it can't work standalone
WELL Done ;-)
cool :)
epic! this might as well be the orginial :P
Well, let's stay realistic : I'm still far from Aphex's talent ;-)
Come to London dude, we can jam and create some stuff, send me a link to your Facebook and we can talk x
There you go ! facebook.com/stienis.music/
Salut max c celui de la classe de cm2
C'est qui "celui" ? ;-)
Stienis celui qui a dit qu'il aller faire un pub ;)
Haha, Julien ! J'ai checké ta chaîne entre temps ;p
Ah
@@Stienis c'est cool
That bass does not sound in tune with the melody at all... Pretty sure there's a few notes wrong there, and it's not really endearing
The butcher
1st bass line sounds out of tune. Still awesome job
have you ever heard Aphex Twin?
"Live performance".... 7 seconds in and already obvious you're miming. You have no idea how to use this equipment.
Ryan Rinsler where’s your vid brah
I was probably wrong about this
you are not allowed to remix producers like aphex twin. just delete the idea from your head pls
nice bait
