Commenting to help with the algorithm. I'm a regular listener, and love what you guys have been doing. Any drumline in this time is welcome, especially for old hands that have been aged out for a while.
Guys-These videos have helped me get through the past year!!!!! Listening to them has been a joy (loved your interview with Angelo Outlaw (I was his HS band/percussion director : ).-Go Upper Darby!!!!!! Keep these coming!!!!!!!! THANKS AGAIN! JM
You mentioned that there wasn’t much body, but that the show would likely have more. I haven’t seen the show in a while, but from what I do remember, body wasn’t common-place in the activity back then. Mystique tried to add it in like 2002 or something but it was poorly received. They tried again in 2007 with a lot of success. There likely was not much body in this show because it effectively hadn’t been invented yet.
Oh yo this reminds me, I know y'all mainly focus on snare/quadlines but if you wanna see an absolutely nuts bassline (as well as some amazing exercises) then Monarch 2019 is for you
You Tube has bots that detect recognizable copyrighted music and automatically demonetized those videos. Personally I don't think this video would've gotten demonetized but you can never be too safe.
Sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any help you can give me!
ahhhhhh I'm old! I had such a great time marching MCM that year. changed me life!
The ensemble still holds up today! Great year for you all.
When you said that MCM 06 was an early WGI group I almost fell over. This was my 8th year in that ensemble. I feel old.
Haha well in your defense, WGI is still relatively young compared to DCI, especially WGI independent percussion. At least to me it feels that way. Lol
I love this podcast. I usually listen to them on my long drive to indoor rehearsal on Fridays. Keep up with this content 👌🏼
Can do!
Classic MCM. I met these guys in 06- 07 season changed my life.
7:39 “NAHNAHNAH NO. FINISH IT” 😂 my man knew what came next too
The drill here was neat too with various rotating forms. But notice the center not marking time? Guess why.

Glad you’re enjoying. No plans to stop anytime soon.
Yeah HYPE! MCM 2006 was my first year and that gave me a whole new perspective in the game. Thank you guys for this comparison.
06 was an iconic MCM year for sure.
More of these please. Love it
Ask and thou shalt receive lol

Ok. Cool. We’ll check it out.
4:29 Why would you get demonetized for the FE part?

Next can y’all do Crown 2010 with Eric carr ?
It’s on the list of future possibilities 👍

@Lyric Nash Instablaster ;)
Pretty much made up half BK and Bloo. Also this line had 3 Bluecoats center snare drummers Kyle, Zach and Jared.
You guys gotta do Broken City 2018 at some point!
Added to the list 👍
Isn't the "performance guy" Kyle from Bluecoats 16?
Nah, kyle was on the other side of the form.
It’s Sean Ye
Sean I believe is the dude going wild- he marched BK 2018
Thanks for the clarification. Dude performs like a boss lol
