Love going through these tutorials - reached the end of this incredible playlist today!
My only note is that it would be awesome if you could link to the meshes/textures you use in your tutorials in the vid description so we can easily follow along :)

Great Tutorials !!! 25:35 Question : What if I want to render my game in p3 or a wide color gamut not srgb do I need to check the srgb toggle or not ? And do I need to use a wide color gamut textures ? .

I don't have any experience rendering in other color spaces, but I would guess that the answer is yes - you still need that setting to be on for albedo textures and off for others.

You need to specify your texture encoding settings under the Texture>Source Color Settings, if you use another color space other than sRGB. Otherwise your color space will not understand how to map your texture which is encoded in other program such as PS, Substance or some photo you found online.

Hello. I realy pashined with your shader cource. I currently investigate tiling in tilemap in unity. I am done some fancy road mask shader. Take black/white mask with straight edges and aply some sine. Add bunch of multiplyers to control procces. Also add randomizer that based on position of tile. Can u look at this? maybe give some suggestions. How much copute power such method can take?

Hi Ben. I love your content. I have a question. Do these knowledges (all shader related stuff, in terms of code or visual node graphs) valid for Godot too?

Should be the same its simple Math

Yes - the reason that I show the techniques being used in multiple engines is to show that they're universal. The point of this current series of videos is to show that almost all of shader math is common to all game engines.

Hello, master, I have been studying your UE tutorial and I like it very much. I have a question. Do you have any good suggestions about the translucent effect of clothes similar to silk veil? I am using the MASK method, and the TAA is jittered, and the screen accuracy is not up to the requirement. I hope you can reply. thanks

you can connect the color just to emission.you dont have to connect to both base color and emission.

Don't the Power Nodes send more power to the video card? I thought that's why Amazon's game New World is frying video cards, because they used too many Power Nodes and it's sending too much POWER to the video cards 🤣

too long of explaining the 1st grade math... fell asleep, couldn't get to the point how to use it in Unreal...
