I love how there's not even any hesitation anymore. The fear is just gone and the knowledge that's taken it's place is a joy to watch. Anyone who watched the original series, in that garage, with the tools you had, to this. Y'all are inspiring, truly!
You accomplished more in this one video than you did in like 4 on the Eleanor project... shows how expert you guys have become with these mustang body swaps!
While not an "Elanor" build ... I'm SOOOOOOO happy BIFB decided to do this. I'm absolutely ecstatic that Denice Shakarian Halicki lost her copyright. While I've never been a fan of the person who was Carroll Shelby, how can you not like the cars ... and I'm a GM guy. Nonetheless, good on yah, Chris. I'm glad you guys are tackling this :o)
Ahhhhh! It went to the next video in the playlist....wait....no...it ended. Chris! You have shocked us!!!! Nice!!! Part 1.... hopefully we don't have to wait too long for part 2!
Tempered glass is all about pressure in a really small spot. You can hit it with a hammer that comes to a point a lot easier then a flat face hammer. A spring loaded center punch shatters them real easy. Love to see where this build goes!
This will be the third time doing some form of this body swap on this channel, and even on the third try it doesn’t get old. Super hyped on this build!
After 8 B is boat vids it's damn nice to see you guys doing something crazy like this again...oh an on an insane time crunch ..just like always ... Feels good ..feels right .
Absolutely pumped for this build. I’ve been loving the boat build and this is the perfect next build. I’m not sure if I’m more excited about you finally having the Shelby inspired Mustang that was Carjacked by those people who shall not be named or the Shelby foundation that will see another tribute to the Great Carol Shelby. Can’t wait for the SEMA reveal.
Was kind of hoping to see the Murcielago head to SEMA. But after seeing what you guys did with the mud engine mustang, this one will be a cool build series!
I agree with you on the blades, the diablo ones seem to cut nice but dont last long, had the same with their circle blades. The headrest window breaking trick is One of those things people should keep in their back pocket for emergencies. If for whatever reason you're trapped in a vehicle the headrest spike can bust a window and allow you to push it out. ❤
Chris, you are an animal! Passed a stone and went in to work, unbelievable. I have been through it, and I did not feel like doing anything after except recuperating for a day. Hope you had some good meds!
21:24 I have that ICON Harbor Freight light and I love it. It truly is my every day carry. It is how I learned that my friends Subaru had an aluminum hood. I see they're going after the Snap-On light...Funny thing is the larger LED cob is on the outside of the folding arm unlike the name brand. I took mine apart some and simply flipped it around. Home-gamer tip for anyone watching.
You guys are destroying that body quickly and making great progress this looks better than the other tear downs I've seen. Looking forward to seeing it start coming together. Carol Shelby I'm sure would approve of dismantling a good donor vehicle for a 67 build . Especially when it looks like it could have came from a racing background. In my opinion this is nothing different than the service members that came home starting the hotrod craze of the 40s and 50s. Utilizing whatever they could get there hand's on. Such a cool concept and with all the comfort of a new vehicle with that distinctly American old-school body. This will be a fun build.
You guys actually looked like you wete having fun making this video. Hopefully it stays this fun throughout the build (even though it probably won't). Charlie the 12-point 14mm deep socket guy from NJ (man i hate referring to myself that way, lol)
Excited to see you get this build done. Between this and the boat that check list of projects I discovered you with are coming together. It has to feel way better for you guys as the ones doing the work. Looking forward to the build.
You should try using a 17mm socket on the wheel locks. Some of them have "keys" and can also be removed with a 17mm socket. The info is kinda late now...but may help in the future.
If you live in a terrible area where someone might actually steal your wheels, then wheel locks are a good thing to have. For the other 90% of the world, they are far more of a pain than they are worth. If you happen to lose the lugnut key and it isn't one that the common wheel lock key kits have. It can be a massive pain in the ass to remove the wheels if any work needs to be done.
See... MY problem with this sort of thing is putting a computerized engine into the classic 67. I'd want ALL the modern amenities minus all the digital stuff... you know, A/C and cruise control - YES... a car that won't run because a module is faulty - NO. I don't think I'd even want fuel injection. So... we'll see what you do with it and I'll be hanging on the edge of my seat with each upload.
So happy you're finally building the mustang!! Can't wait to see the final product!! On the mattresses you'll eventually wish you went with the firm, they all soften after a while.
Hey Chris, you don’t have to remove the side skirts to remove the fender. You simply just need to take a cut off wheel and cut out the portion of the side skirt covering the bottom fender bolts and it comes out super easy
The Eleanor project was what made me discover your channel so I’m so glad you’re doing a new Mustang conversion. I’m impatient to see what it will look like at the end, in particular now you said it will not be an Eleanor
Love this project. Since you started the first car a few years ago, I was wondering what it would look like if you kept the newer roof and just redid the lower section of the car. It’s wider than original but might be ok. Don’t know
I haven't used the carbide Diablo blades, but I buy the fire/rescue and demolition Diablo blades online. They are way better than harbor freight ones in my opinion and can be found in packs that come out to $2 or so a blade
You would be surprised at how much you could use a number pad on a Bluetooth radio. I have '22 F-250 XL with a radio similar to that one. I primarily use the radio number pad when answering automated message questions. Which I do almost every day. Gotta make a lot of calls on the go.
Love this build, cant wait to see it finished, maybe you could have used a convertible that way you wouldn't have worry about cutting the roof off😄, awesome job guys.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could configure those original numbers and buttons to doing different things. Or like in transporter where you got to push in the numbers before you can start the car LOL. Awesome build loved the first one. Now that realistically there's probably a nice aftermarket screen you can put in there..
You guys drive me nuts. You always have such a tight deadline to create something awesome. Just once I would like to see you have 3 months for a SEMA build. I know you are capable, but you always seem to have to do last minute fixes
I am so glad your wife is helping you on camera again . She is so much easier to watch trying out a mattress than you or Oscar . Thank you for that . Can't wait to see the badass old/new Carrol Shelby stang.
Idk if someone has said this but those lug nuts are the same style that discount tire sells, and they will either give you or sell you a key if you bring a picture of the lug with you and tell them you lost yours(just for future reference)
Thank you Brooklyn Bedding for sponsoring! Visit brooklynbedding.com/bisforbuild to get 25% off your mattress with bisforbuild.
A 17mm socket will take those lugs off 😅
I love how there's not even any hesitation anymore. The fear is just gone and the knowledge that's taken it's place is a joy to watch. Anyone who watched the original series, in that garage, with the tools you had, to this. Y'all are inspiring, truly!
He is a cancer survivor, he’s not scared of anything. He truly is inspiring.
You accomplished more in this one video than you did in like 4 on the Eleanor project... shows how expert you guys have become with these mustang body swaps!
No kidding they have done it before so they know what they need to do lol.its not rocket science.
Well this is their 3rd time doing it with a Mustang! 😂😂
Back in 2000 😳
Seems like just a few years ago, life is ticking by,not so much the clock
Good fortune with the build 👍🏻
Craziest part is having a 2015 Mustang back in March of 2000.
I think you were still a child back in 2000,Chris. 🤣
No way I have been watching this channel 23 years lol ? I swear that's a mistake.
I was Born that year
it was 2020 not 2000
notification gang!
This is cute
Wuddup Freddy
😂😂😂
How's the McLaren coming along?
Bro forgor about the project he needs to finish 💀
While not an "Elanor" build ... I'm SOOOOOOO happy BIFB decided to do this. I'm absolutely ecstatic that Denice Shakarian Halicki lost her copyright. Of all the years watching this channel, never seen Chris not give an outro. Thats different.
Taking lessons from Rob Dahm
He doesn't do the Punch of Peace?
@@LizzyB123thought the same thing, 😆
I think its just a mistake, I'm sure Chris will Peace it in when he realizes.
Ahhhhh! It went to the next video in the playlist....wait....no...it ended. Chris! You have shocked us!!!! Nice!!! Part 1.... hopefully we don't have to wait too long for part 2!
Redemption time! So stoked for this build! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Seems difficult to build a 2015 mustang in 2000… but If anyone could do it. I’m confident it’s you. just sayin…
I know, right? I was looking for one back then but for some reason I couldn’t find one….
I guess Chris got lucky
Where's that Delorean again? :)
Tempered glass is all about pressure in a really small spot. You can hit it with a hammer that comes to a point a lot easier then a flat face hammer. A spring loaded center punch shatters them real easy. Love to see where this build goes!
You 100% didnt start building eleanor 23 years ago 😂😂
Didn't he say 2020?
I think he is talking about his time machine DeLorean.
He definitely said ‘back in 2000’ 😂😂😂
When I heard that I had to rewind and said "Damn... I wasn't even born yet" 😂
Chris is just so excited he misspoke and I can’t blame him after all the BS they went through back in 2020.
YES!!!!! The 67 Mustang body swap is back and better than ever!!! So damn excited for this build!!!! 😁
This will be the third time doing some form of this body swap on this channel, and even on the third try it doesn’t get old. Super hyped on this build!
4th
Man this makes my heart feel good. Everyone wanted to see that one finished. Get is boys.
After 8 B is boat vids it's damn nice to see you guys doing something crazy like this again...oh an on an insane time crunch ..just like always ... Feels good ..feels right .
Haha i love you guys. Back in 2000 we started to build a Elenor replica outta 2015 mustang GT. Truly excited about this build
I’m glad y’all decided to tackle this project again it’s gonna be a bad ass build when it’s all said and done
Absolutely pumped for this build. I’ve been loving the boat build and this is the perfect next build. Im not much for the boat content so im happy to see the car content back!
Wow, that's wild, what a tear down. I would not have the stomach to do all that cutting. What a great series kick off!!!
Was kind of hoping to see the Murcielago head to SEMA. But after seeing what you guys did with the mud engine mustang, this one will be a cool build series!
given what tavarish has to deal with now with his P1, i think chris dodged a bullet here.
@@BETAsin agreed. Tesla aren’t fans of people using their platform it seems like.
YES! Redemption! Finally we get to see it from start to finish this time around! I'm really looking forward to it!
I agree with you on the blades, the diablo ones seem to cut nice but dont last long, had the same with their circle blades.

FYI window deletion... Automatic centre punch = quick, quiet, and reasonably safe way to break safety glass.
Awesome choice for a sema build! Glad you decided to return to a build that should have been. A great how to video too!
You guys are destroying that body quickly and making great progress this looks better than the other tear downs I've seen. Looking forward to seeing it start coming together. Thank you for coming back to this build. Need a sense of catharsis about that whole ordeal and make things better than ever!
If you pause at 1:17 Chris is talking about sema, looks at his watch, the pause got me 🤣
You guys actually looked like you wete having fun making this video. Hopefully it stays this fun throughout the build (even though it probably won't).

This is really cool guys, the thought and execution is amazing, thanks👍🏻
I am so glad you are doing this build, I was so angry with what happened, I'm so glad you are doing even better, I loved that build, awesome work team

That bent arm adjusts rear Toe, Camber is adjusted on the top link. I own a S550 Mustang and replaced all those links on mine.
THIS is going to be an AWESOME build. I'm so glad you are doing this and sharing it with us.

pound a 8 point socket on those wheel lugs. Preferably a impact if got it in right size.
So happy you're finally building the mustang!! Can't wait to see the final product!! On the mattresses you'll eventually wish you went with the firm, they all soften after a while.
I'm so happy for you bro. I've been waiting to see this happen. Such an awesome donor car too. You guys are gonna crush this!
Cannot tell you how happy I am to have the proper OG BIFB channel back. The channel about cars.
The headrest trick is if you are trapped in a car and need to get out. (i.e. in a flood or other body of water situation)
Hey Chris, you don’t have to remove the side skirts to remove the fender. You simply just need to take a cut off wheel and cut out the portion of the side skirt covering the bottom fender bolts and it comes out super easy

This stuff makes me so happy. Your content is awesome
I love the builds for Sema 🎉
I love it back to the builds back to your roots
Been holding my breath for this build since the Eleanor saga. Back and better!
Ive only just recently come across this channel, but fuk dude i love it, and conrats on beating cancer, i wish u all the best mate
These are my favorite types of your builds - you hair will eventually be en fire and this will turn out amazing.
👍👍👍Go with the Milwaukee “The Torch” blades. They are by far the best I have found for some serious cutting.👍👍👍
Love this project. Since you started the first car a few years ago, I was wondering what it would look like if you kept the newer roof and just redid the lower section of the car. It’s wider than original but might be ok. Don’t know
I worked at Safelite, you would be surprised how often the wire is used. But, normally they have different tools.
Sick of the mustang builds. 🚨
Then don't watch them
@@clintajodha6068 if I wanted your opinion, I'll beat it out of you, or just destroy your system! 🤣
so happy your 're doing this build .. knock it out of the park good luck boys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
SEMA build! I should save this for my morning coffee tomorrow but TOO excited!
I haven't used the carbide Diablo blades, but I buy the fire/rescue and demolition Diablo blades online. They are way better than harbor freight ones in my opinion and can be found in packs that come out to $2 or so a blade

Outstanding progress for one episode
Love this build, cant wait to see it finished, maybe you could have used a convertible that way you wouldn't have worry about cutting the roof off😄, awesome job guys.
Next time try the Milwaukee Torch demolition blades. They have become my favorite for taking things apart :-)
dude so fucking happy to see yall are taking another stab at this build! i look forward to the progress
This build should be a blast to watch
Excited for this build ! Well deserved redemption build
Reveal 1:30
Disassembly 8:22
Roof removal 19:39
Disassembly part two 21:04
Can’t bloody wait! I was waiting on this to become life once they took it!
Milwaukee wrecker carbide blades are the best. Cut through a hardened 2” pin in about 6 minutes
Wouldn't it be nice if you could configure those original numbers and buttons to doing different things. Or like in transporter where you got to push in the numbers before you can start the car LOL. Awesome build loved the first one. Now that realistically there's probably a nice aftermarket screen you can put in there..
Great ending... straight to the point
Audio is so much better now, good job ! :D Great build as always!
You guys drive me nuts. You always have such a tight deadline to create something awesome. Just once I would like to see you have 3 months for a SEMA build. I know you are capable, but you always seem to have to do last minute fixes
100% just do a build with no time bullshit.
I am so glad your wife is helping you on camera again . She is so much easier to watch trying out a mattress than you or Oscar . Thank you for that . Can't wait to see the badass old/new Carrol Shelby stang.
Finaly the build we waiting for so many years after eleanor.........!! In only forty days! I expect weekly episodes Chrisss!!!!!
I’m impressed you could find a 2015 Mustang GT back in 2000. They were pretty hard to come by back then
Idk if someone has said this but those lug nuts are the same style that discount tire sells, and they will either give you or sell you a key if you bring a picture of the lug with you and tell them you lost yours(just for future reference)
I whana see this done I missed the last one glad its happening
I would love to see you have a SEMA build done with at least a week left and then be able to add some flare
Nice cant wait for the build to finish
Thats my favourite project! Very excited about it,wish you luck !
Chris time traveling, and shortly after saying something very few men have ever said; “ I finished my boat”😂😂
15:00 This is the non-premium GT model. The GT Premium trim comes with leather seats, better infotainment with car play and digital cluster.
Back to where The channel started! Awesome!
Those number are definitely for the presets for radio stations. Most likely for dialing numbers also.
Let's gooooo! Scary, seeing all that structure go like that but excited to see how down to the wire we'll be this time lmao 😂
The best recip blades are the "The Torch" blades by Milwaukee
I am glad you get to build another slick go cart 👍
I think stock interior reupholstered would look sweet + keeps stock power sear functionality.
Look forward to seeing this at SEMA this year.
Look at the bright side of restarting this project... practice makes perfect 👌
Man if Zane is gone and Chelsea is subbing in from time to time. I hope you can get all these projects done! Looking forward to this one though!
I have been waiting for years to see this build redone and completed
20:26 there is a special hardened steel for safety. Saws and dril bits don’t last long
I never was here that quick but hell, B is for build uploads so I watch
Im looking forward to this build!
Look forward to seeing you again at Sema🤙🏻
Woohoo! I remember that episode! Looking forward to the results of this plan
Yes please update the infotainment! Also they make a sick gauge cluster that the GT500 uses that’s all digital…. You should use that!
Really like the “how to” tips not that I’ll ever actually build this at home it’s just nice to see
