The best part is that the factory made those panels removable. It seems that even the designer wasn't 100% convinced with the fenders, if not they would be part of the fender and not a flimsy add on.
Those new flares with the 265 wide tires looks flush and factory. Very impressive.

I like the color match but would be nice to have the option to keep the portion at the lower front quarter grey to match the rocker and rear bumper along the lower edge.
Clip on wide body kit would be sweet, kinda like the idea of it being clipped in like that. Opens the fields for modification and pretty simple to do.

I got my ice silver fender flairs the other day, man I can't wait tell this weekend to put em' on! They were packaged great with that white foam padding, I like how they came in a really thick box.

Front fix is easy, rear isn't too bad and inside is fine, imo.

The mismatched flares is such a design blunder man. What were they thinking? "Lets make a sedan look like our suv's." If I got this wrx I'll 100% buy this mod.
They're functional, without the paint they claim it helps airflow around the car in the wind tunnel tests.

Most likely next year, Subaru will paint them back to matching color. I think the fender actually is fine in black but it's the rear bumper design that is the most offensive piece.
I don't even own a new WRX nor do I care too, but this is well made and looks great! Almost makes me want to get one lol

What are the Wheel Specs and Suspension Specs to have the new 10mm Fender Flares to be like this VB WRX in the video. I wanna get the new 10mm Flares but the last thing I want are my wheels to be hidden inside the wheel wells even more lol. Any help from anyone would be great thanks fam

If these were a thing when I first got my VB I might've bought them but I'm just so used to the black fender flares that I don't even mind them anymore. It'd feel almost unnatural to change them

Now a new bumper design is needed. Just like the previous model, a bumper with eith equal top and bottom grill/vents or a smaller top one with a larger mouth below.
I think you should do a 30mm wide but drop the fender height so it clears the stock inner fender
That will look wack because it will mess with the proportions. Still won't fit bigger wheels anyways if you lowered it and it could even rub stock potentially

Removing the reflectors and replacing them with vents on the rear fender flares, unfortunately violates DOT requirements. Those reflectors were added to the 2022 because the rear tail lights do not contain passive reflectors that are visible from the side of the vehicle like the 2021 and earlier model had. I was going to buy these but would fail NY state vehicle inspection.
some of the ones on the website have the reflectors, im curious if its an option.
Just keep a reflector by itself in your car and if anyone asks, say it fell off and you're going to fix it soon, you just haven't gotten around to it.. or, at inspection time, just install the factory rear flares back on.
I feel like Subaru made these fenders because they wanted to make a way for the STI and aftermarket community to add rivet-less fender flares without having to drill into the body. Just use the stock mounts and double sided tape.
Definitely need wheel spacers or wider wheels to run with these but the beefier look is nice.

really curious why there isn't a stock dark-gray/textured option. The silica black won't match and isn't a good solution for those that want to keep the existing contrast the cladding provides.
We will offer this option later down the road!
I'd just prefer smooth/unpainted. I think they'd be the first to admit it - but Aeroflow loathes the flares, always have. It's their signature "thing."

I like the rear flares, but that’s going to accumulate water when it rains. There is no drain on the bottom of the plastic lining.
May also cause the internal metal to rust prematurely, due to water accumulation inside the well . Idk… I like it but I’m just saying….
Behind the flares is all plastic where the vent goes. No rust issues.

Just curious on your personal choice of why you lease? You end up paying more than you would if you had bought a car but I can see some benefits of it, as well.. less maintenance over time etc.
