Gods tells the story of Deft, a professional league of legends player who has been competing over nearly 10 years. Despite being considered one of the best in the world, he's always fallen just one step short of winning the world championship, being overshadowed by players like Faker (who was in the same highschool at Deft, and can be seen in the beginning of the video), Pawn (the player with the cannon in the middle of the video, who belong to the same organization as Deft), Showmaker (the player with the black orbs), etc. With his mandatory Korean military service coming up, many people expected last years world championships to be 'Deft's last dance' before his retirement. Despite coming in as the lowest seeded team from Korea and playing with rookies, Deft would end up winning the world championship, beating many of his former teammates and even defeating Faker in the finals.
The song by Newjeans give chills but the mv is so amazing. And it tells the beautiful story of Deft achivement. The animation is so good and give all the emotion Deft going through is carreer !!! What a great tribute !!!!
This game is like life too them. A career base if they can make it one. They train night and day on a gaming pc and if they get selected to a professional team, they also get a base salary and could potentially become very rich

its actually very similar to how any worlds league songs have sounded for years! this is the sound of riot games you hear! and its always epic! ^^
Its gonna be epic when new jeans go live on league of legend 2023 championship opening next month. The animation here is base on the professional players. The main character here took 10 years to finally win it all in 2022. The lowest seeded team that everything think couldn’t even make it to the tournament but the underdog made it through and won in the finals. I would say faker the number 1 rank player which is also in this mv is god 😂. League of legend god. He finally win and beat faker in a sense. 2 million usd cash price not including endorsement deals etcc. Its a big event

@@deftbestboy I mean it kind of is. He's not the character that you follow along but the whole theme behind "Gods" and the video is surrounding Faker being the "god" and Deft managing to surpass him eventually
true my bad of course there is more to the story but its gonna be many paragraph :) . I should of name Deft.. The MC of the MV is basically him and his team but Faker is in a sense is God in the game and part of the story line..... . @@deftbestboy

def not as powerful as their other WORLDS songs, but still very League of legendsY , i dont even know who new jeans is but when i heard the song on twitter i knew it was League of legends, been a league player since 2014 so i kind of know LoL style of music now and this was good!! nothing new ofc but that im glad about, i love leagues classic sound.
This Is very different from Newjeans usual tone so this was a shocker for a lot of people. I'm even surprised they were asked considering the group just started a year ago but they've been releasing bangers so I guess that's why.

@@_mys The design, animation and special effects within the game is top notch. No game of same type can even come close to it. Not to mention the skins that make the game look different all the time. League is beautiful.
@@ppdiff Yeah the game is great and all, I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm just saying it's a total lie to say the game is exactly like the animation. The mechanics are completely different, the abilities are greatly exaggerated, and the designs are enhanced for this video.
I just don't want people expecting this mv when they open lol for the first time and get disappointed.
@@_mysthe only exaggeration was Caitlyn shooting a nuke in the end, but most of the abilities shown are actually pretty accurate to the game.
you are so tripping if you think League has the most "top-notch" animations etc. Riot excels in their IP related content such as GODS, Ryze, and other IP games (TFT). If you want high octane graphics and visuals and stuff Dota 2 is ranks above LoL, and this is coming from a league player @@ppdiff
its not official but yea its a riot written song and they just got newjeans to sing it. remember last year they had lil nas x write a song and it didnt sound like a worlds song , good but not a worlds song. i bet cause of the backlash from last year they wont do that for awhile. (lil nas x fans caused some problems in the community and leagues community didnt take it so well so they fought back and it hurt the songs performance). another point would be everyone that knows newjeans songs says this is nothing like their songs and it does feel like a riots world song so not official but we can easly guess.
