It's a challenge to say that all those people who get married the children will stay or take care of old aged parents. Some children choose to stay abroad due to economic reason far away from parents maybe not everyone. Marriage is a big commitment and responsibility. Some parents end up in old folks home. Even senior citizen home care is expanding in many countries when questions like who will take care when old age if you end up single.
What is abnormal in our country is perfectly normal in this country I live. My co-worker who is a white lady has a 20 yr old daughter. Last year she was really worried because her daughter didn’t have a boyfriend and this year she is very happy as her daughter found one boy and they all living in the same house. As parents they don’t even expect their daughter to marry the same person. All they want is their kids to have a partner the moment they turn 20. Otherwise they think there is something abnormal with their kids. Enna oru cultural shock.
In that country adolescents and teenagers and adults all know what they are doing and know the consequences if they break up how to tackle their own problems . And they dont involve in sexual relations that easily I think. Here in our country even adults never think of consequences they will face after such relationships and facing lots of problems.
