I don't know if I would call this "easier", but less running back and forth when you fail for sure. I really like the UV bunny trick at the end though, that's smart.
i think the biggest problem is most people can't figure out how to bubble jump properly. i'd say 80% of people don't even realize you can shoot a bubble down.
It's so much easier. The only hard part IMO is right at the end when the ceiling has the bumps on it. Otherwise it's really straightforward. The original way is almost impossible, especially if you're not used to shooting bubbles directly downwards. The timing has to be really good.
The little stalactite at the end is the fucking BANE of my existence. I realized its also much easier to use the upgraded bubble wand so you can let the second bubble go and then jump right as your current one touches the ground, seemed to give me a little more wiggle room
How do you get the upgraded wand? The "B.B.Wand". I know that it's on the chest nesr the house, on the room with all the skulls, but I have been unable to bubble up there, and don't want to die a buch more to get to it.
@@halkon4412 Nono, I habe no issues with bubble parkour, but there are vines that break your bubbles in the way up to the chest with the B.B.W. And my skull pile wasnt big enough
You can ride the disc even from inside the one-block gap in the on/off walls that stays inactive if you use the remote while inside the wall. All to say that you can use the disc to get out of the last section and avoid the stalactites. Just hold right so you fall in the water when the disc hits the vines.
Nice find! If anyone else keeps bumping into the stalactite in the last screen, I found it fairly easy to take a leap of faith off the ledge, spam bubbles down to catch yourself, then spam bubbles right to get the elevation you need to leap into the pond.
I am trying this for more than an hour now, but I still can't get it lol, my bubble always explode before I can jump, or if a miracle happens, I am just too slow to recover lmao
This is a ground-breaking discovery Now if only I saw this video yesterday, before I spent ten hours of attempts to get the three-dogs bunny using the much harder route x3
I also independently discovered this route over the weekend. I agree it is MUCH easier and in my opinion likely the intended solution. My hat off to you for discovering it first.
From everything I am seeing I should be counting myself as extremely lucky for accidentally getting the UV bunny. I had just gotten the light so I was spamming it on and off while exploring right after and boom
When I found it i didn't even know what bunnies were for so I got sad thinking I had f'd up by touching it instead of just following it to a secret place or something
Thank you so much. Almost gave up on the no touching floor bunny till saw your easier route. Felt scammed a couple time saying I touched in the maze but finally got it
This is definitely easier than the other method or the version of this with the frisbee. With the BB wand just spam bubbles in the corridor. The tricky part is the stalactite on the final screen. I found adjusting my guy a little bit forward helped to place a bubble between that and the platform. Such a relief once completed. Thank you.
Thanks a lot. I was having trouble with your method so I changed it a little. Basically I only a few bubbles, like 3-4 to do the same thing you do. In the upper room with multiple enable/disable walls I use first a disk and then equip remote and I jump close to the wall and use it 2 time to stuck my self in the wall, you need to stuck yourself above the first block to not touch the ground (that will reset the position if you do) and also not to high so you can use bubbles to get out of the wall and continue to the right, so the best position is the 2nd block of the wall from the ground, so from the first wall I use bubbles to reach to second wall that is empty and I switch to remote to enable the wall and get stuck in it, I need to be at the 2nd block from the ground again then I look left and throw a disc and the most tricky part is that last jump, when the disc is coming back to you you need to jump to the right at the last moment so the disc can go thru the wall and you jump on it, it will land in vines but you can still reach the water either by just going to the right or jumping right before touching the vine. It's a little tricky but I find it more reliable than bubbles for me (skill issue I guess) the most unreliable thing of my method is the last jump on the disk from the wall that is enabled, the window to allow the disc to go thru without you catching it is tiny. I should have recorded this it would be more clear.
Thank you for this. There was no way I was gonna go that far. I was initially going to try a solution like this, but didn't realize that the platforms didn't reset the spawn point.
Not sure I ever would’ve finished that one. Great walkthrough, only took me maybe ten tries with a massive skill issue so rest assured most will get it quickly
The stalactite sucks but you can make it easier by throwing the disc towards the left while on a bubble like 5-7 "blocks" to the right of the last remote block wall. If you get on it at the right height (should be 3 blocks above the ground), you'll be going back and forth between the remote block wall and the second stalactite. Just jump off when you're farthest right and spam bubbles downwards, then bubble to the water
I modified it a little bit to make passing the killer stalagtite at the end a little bit easier: When I'm standing on a bubble right before/below that stalagtite and right before the ledge, instead of doing another bubble jump (like you) I just walked off the bubble to the right, dropping over the ledge and instantly shooting a bubble downwards to catch my fall before hitting the ground.
If you're really stuck and playing on PC, you can have a second person spam the X key while you control the character with a gamepad for an unlimited stream of safe bubbles.
The hint is the wall is clearly a two opposite remote walls, but there is no remote tower to switch it once you're past the 1st one.. So how do you switch it and end up on the other side of the 1st remote wall? You think about how dropping in water takes you back to the last ledge you were on, so maybe you could use the remote in another room and drop into water to go back to the other side of the 1st wall. So you make sure the spot behind the first wall is your last ledge by not touching the floor. You also realize you need to go to a room with a remote tower to switch it along the way to water. There is the thought process that anyone could figure out on their own.
I preferred to lock myself into the pillar with the remote and use the frisbee. I'm terrible at bubble jumping in small places, and you just hold forward at the end to fall in the water off the frisbee.
I wasn't able to get the final few bubble jumps with the really low ceiling so I used a frisbe instead. Pretty difficult since you need to throw it very low to the ground without touching the ground and then get on it but still easier than the alternative.
I accidentally caught the UV bunny while looking for secrets with the UV light, ended up reloading my save and googling it to figure out what happened (and catch it normally)
How in the heck did they find this bunny in the first place? Are there hints that you have to jump into that waterfall without touching the floor to unlock a secret in the 1st place?
@@iestynne I've tried getting into that a few times & figured maybe I'd need a later tool. The part I don't understand is how they figured out that you can't touch the floor.
