They need to add a active sound package cause this 3.5T engine sounds amazing with an exhaust a few people already did a custom exhaust on the Gv70 with the same engine.
Nice informative review. I recently bought a GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige (Uyuni white over red/charcoal), love it, but if I had wanted a sedan the G80 3.5 Sport Prestige would have been my choice. The G80 is beautiful, but they should swap out the flat infotainment wheel for the raised infotainment wheel from the GV70, much easier to control. Genesis is on a roll..........

Good news, Genesis is doing exactly that for the '23 model year! I agree, the raised knob is a much better solution. Now if we could just get that touch screen moved an inch or two closer...
@@JDubbs07 the reason they went with the flat infotainment wheel was to make it very different from the drive selector but for in real world use I agree the knob is better. This is my car but in silver with black interior best car I have ever owned /driven.
I personally am not a fan of SUV'S. They are a chore to drive, and repair costs are significantly higher than sedans. My choice would be the G80 gas.
I just when ahead and test drive the genesis g80 and I must say it’s a nice car I was looking at the Maserati but I choose the genesis hands down.

I own a 2013 Hyundai Genesis and it’s not for bragging rights. It’s imitation, stealth luxury. Not for everyone given the plethora of mainstream brands with similar tech at lower prices.

@@MJT-DA I really like that new gen before it fully transitioned to Genesis. I oddly do not care for the latest generation styling. You got one of the good ones.

Great review Mr Chris. For those on the fence about this car go test drive it. Yeah check it out. If you dont care about cache and badge you will buy one. I did as one who drove mercedes s class and c lass. I own a 2017 G 80 no regrets.

If you are talking about an LS, I would agree, but then, the LS would cost $30,000 more. The ES has become an underpowered FWD joke, and the IS is just a fancied up Corolla.

Good looking car, but lack of dedicated sales and service amd dealers means it is not a luxury brand. It is just a better Hyundai.
