Just wanted to say I’ve fully watched this whole video like 5 times already because I absolutely love Jeremy’s Binding of Isaac content ❤ also as someone who does get panic attacks/paranoia with edibles…it isn’t worth it lol I’ve definitely had some really awful times feeling paralyzed and like I was dying over edibles and just freaked out for hours (and this is coming from someone who used to smoke like everyday for two years). One day it just became the worst for me 😂
Something that might help with your meds is to make a big sign on a piece of paper that says "Refill Your Meds" in ink or marker then under it in pencil write in the refill date and change it each time it's refilled. Place it in sight somewhere like next to the door or something. i do that to remember things.
Interesting seeing you talk about panic attacks when I've had a couple in the past few days. As both a therapist and someone who experiences them for myself, I 100% agree with everything you said about them. I am glad your anxiety is feeling better under control at this point.
Can't hate on people's nostalgia hobbies. Collecting cards and watching the shows every Saturday was basically our childhoods. On a side note, for my parents' generation, it was Pogs.

Panic attacks for me are like a full tug of war between rational and irrational which is only made worse by the ADHD. Because I've become a forcibly logical person (to the point of trying to "logic" my way out of things or logical progression for what's just a flat out excuse etc. etc.) due to my latent anxiety and previously underlying ADHD. First started to really hit when I'd gotten my first job, like the back of my mind was trying to find any excuse to not be there, to leave. But I was there, so I was going to do my job. My panic attacks started taking shape as extreme lethargy, brain fog and shaking hands. It was horrid, especially in part because I knew I had no reason to be feeling that way, but my anxiety was strongarming other portions of my brain to push for something to get me out of the "Panic" situation that it was causing itself.
I had my panic attack about a year ago and had several anxiety attacks and my primary doctor finally stepped in and said I really need to seek mental help and might want to consider med option. She is retired now but she is my savior. She convinced me and led me to right direction and helped me get diagnosed as ptsd due to domestic abuse and encouraged me to get back on my feet. Still on med but I will gladly take med and have normal life compare to what I had before
I don't think stat boosting is as vague of a reference as you think it is Jeremy. Especially if you're talking about Pokémon, one of the most mainstream IPs out there lol.
The funny thing about ADHD medication is that they claim it is very addictive...unless you actually need ADHD medication... I forget to take my meds all the damn time
I gotta disagree with Jeremy on the PalWorld critisizm. I mean, how many shooters basically are the same game or use the same general designs. Just because a Pal is extremely similar doesn't mean the person who made it didn't design their own version, maybe the blatant ones are just the designers favorites with their own twist like "What if X-mon was X-element", usually people get praise for making fan art with a twist, I don't see it as any different. Though if the thing I've heard is true where they took models and re-used the skeletons, that's kinda fucked up. Even then it's hard to judge as a game dev student, the main thing teachers are trying to get us to do is "Re-use old code, if you don't need to rewrite it, why bother, just take it, make adjustments as neccessary and save time." though re-using that stuff is still stealing.

I mean the 6 pals come there are dozens of 6 vs 6 games out there. Bringing a character to life is a special thing but also Pokemon copied from Dragon Quest and they have Pokemon that are ever single everyday items you would come across, you cant take any item and bring it to life without it looking like a Pokemon. Like I said at the beginning no hate I always have yours or Ray's TH-cam videos playing in the background when I am doing stuff around the house.
Yeah, if you want to just write it off as difference of opinion that's fine, but Jeremy's hatred of Palworld really just comes off as Pokemon fanboyism. Which, no surprise to anyone who watches his content, it's a franchise he's super passionate about. But as he even said himself, defending the literal biggest IP in the world against an indie dev is just so silly, and when your arguments for that is "hey they use the same very basic game mechanics" it's like... cool, and Pokemon is a blatant rip-off of turn based RPGs for having battles where you take turns choosing to use an ability, an item, change to another character in your party, or run away. And their designs are just so uninspired blatant ripoffs of (insert any critter / monster IP ever). Like, Bidoof is literally just a beaver. And oh what a surprise he's a water type. Rattatta is.. a normal... rat. But he's purple isn't that so quirky! Could you at least put any effort into making something unique? I could go on but you get the point; Jeremy said he was surprised the lawsuit is about patents and not copyright infringement etc. You know why it is? Because Pokemon's lawyers, which are some of the best in the industry and extremely good at winning cases, knew they had no reasonable case to claim that Palworld was a ripoff / copy. Pokemon's own lawyers agree on that point lol, that should tell you everything you need to know. Also, funny enough, when he first started on the topic I thought he was going to say he dislikes mixing the very childish and whimsical critter gameplay with guns and murder and enslavement; which that I could see being a reasonable opinion, especially for someone who strongly associates pokemon with their childhood. But nope, not a single mention of that, or the base building, or the tech tree, or the crafting, or the exploration or... you know, any of the very many things that Palworld does which are uniquely different from Pokemon. Probably because he was just kind of blinded by 'grr they're a pokemon clone, bad game' without ever really bothering to learn more about the game, just picked up whatever tidbits of facts would confirm his opinion.
