It's definitely not a theme, as Ray has played with several non-VTubers in Jamboree, including Nagzz, Matt, Chilled, Proton Jon, Platy, Ze, RTGame, Valkaraye, etc. As for why he streams with a lot of VTubers, it's because he likes streaming with them, a lot of them are his friends, it makes for good content, and it grows Ray's audience and introduces himself to people who might not have heard of him otherwise.
