Seeing Is Believing - Volkswagen Transporter T5 TDI

I don't know what to tell you!
It took me 3 days to do this one simple task?!
Maybe I'm out of practice, Looks like its time to get back into TH-cam and working on cars

No... You are correct and I share your pain. Any simple task on an old T5 seems to take way longer than it should and throw up more problems along the way 🤓

Which 12v live did you use mate? I bought a camera for mine a long time ago, thought i was doing everything right but have never been able to get it to work so gave up 😂

Hi mate, I can’t quite remember but I think the 12v live came off the back of the head unit, there was a spare I believe (or I just spliced into it) as for the signal wire to tell the head unit that the van is in reverse I took that from the reverse light wire, hope that helps
